Looks like Livi are clutching at straws again trying to stay up in the spl...
I don't particulary like st mirren but I hope that the spl have some sort of common sence and don't force them to have under soil heating for one season... (common sense... the SPL/SFA? haahahhaha :***: )

It's no great surprise that the Livi-scum are stooping to this level to try and stay up. They can't be far off being the worst premier league team in history (although we know who that is  ) and should just except their fate. I can't wait to watch them do 'a Partick' next year and hopefully 'a Saints' and slip right down to the bottom of the pile.

I hope their objection is upheld!! Then as second in the league we can politely tell the SPL that we don't want promotion to their pish league.
a) because we want to be involved in the excitement of tussling it out with Gretna next season. [Will be infinitely better than para b) ]
b) Because we don't want to be involved in a relegation battle next season.
c) We're not good enough yet. :***:

Oh god, another summer, another legal battle over promotion/relegation.
The SPL in quickly turning into an annual joke every summer with this sort of carry on.

From what I hear, there is less and less chance of St Midden moving to a new ground as they cannot get enough for what they have now to make it financially viable. They have known for long enough that they would have to have underground heating before being granted a place in the SPL so I reckon both them and Livi shouod be relegated straight to the 3rd divison for being total prats. :***:

I would love it if David Taylor or the top guy at the SPL/SFL took that exact action and came out with those exact words as the official reason for doing so :***: :***:

Theoretically we could Chopper. If the SFL reckon that there is a chance that St Midden wouldn't get promoted cause of this legal battle, they can decide who gets the offer of promotion. It is not in the rules that if you win the league, you are promoted. It is up to the SFL to put forward their candidate.
So, theoretically, they could award the promotion spot to second place.

If St.Mirren aren't granted promotion then no other team will go up. I know what you are saying Paul but we've seen in the past when Falkirk were refused entry to the SPL, no-one was promoted/relegated
