Can anyone tell me what the deal is with the play-offs? Who is involved, where and when games will be played etc? I seem to have missed the detail somewhere.

just makes me more confused.scottish football is a joke ,little titchy leagues play each other 4 times,make the play off then you play each other another few times.so you get sick of the sight of each other.

What do you mean by that? Obviously something outside the OF must count to you, otherwise you wouldn't be a St Johnstone fan?

You are right,BH. I phrased that badly.

What I meant was that IMHO, to the football authorities in Scotland, all that matters is the OF.

4th in Div 2 could be promoted. Seems a bit daft but that is the way it happens down south so it must be right.

The slight difference that their leagues are twice the size of ours :roll:
