This isn't the "forum police" before anyone has a go...

Can everyone please take care when posting photos on the forum, from external sites. There have been some complaints from sites which host some photos (particularly in the 'memories in pictures' type threads recently).

Many people running sites have download limits where they have to pay extra, and posting on here has - in two cases - caused people extra expense, without any benefit to their websites or businesses.

In addition, the vast majority of the photos are protected by copyright - and although the original site might have permission to use it, we don't.

Photos from the official website come under this post too.

By all means post photos and images if you have the right to use them, but put them on some of your own webspace (or PM me, I'll donate some space on this server if you need it).

Maybe people can start using free image uploaders just for random pictures.
For example...

Just save the photo to your computer then upload to one of those sites, then you can paste the links here :)

Absolutely true, and a good idea. A few people on here already do that, but the more the merrier!
