If Gretna do get into Europe, that could effect Saints chances of Promotion next year (that is if we dont get promoted this year :roll: ) Mileson, would maybe willing to spend that bit extra to bring in enough quality for europe, therefor them maybe having a stronger squad than if they didn't reach Europe.

I think it'll be good for scottish football if they get into Europe. And I don't think it will neccesarily be bad for us. Teams like Ipswich have shown that it can take the players' minds of the league and ruin their season.

The real impact it could have on us would be if they get the CIS Cup first round bye that usually goes to the second-placed team in Division One. :(

I had never thought about that

The norm is that teams in Europe get a bye into round 3 so if we were to finish second and they get a place in Europe it looks like we would have to play in round one. So does that mean we are going to have to support the Huns :cry:

if we are going to go on a cup run we may aswell start it from the first round if need be. The only way you can get to the final of a cup is by having a go at any team that faces you no matter what round really.
