Savo. Took the first decent chance in the game well hit the post and once again showed his class in lobbing keeper, just knows where the goal is.
MacKay played a very big part tonight too.

Despite winning 6-0 and all six of the goals being taken very well, I don't think we had to do too much to win the game. It was a bit tame and at points dull. I'm struggling to find a real standout. Everyone played well, but I am not sure anyone took it that bit further. Thought Hardie controlled the midfield well and looks as fit as he ever as. Kenny Deuchars first goal was the pick of the bunch for me, for a guy of his size to turn and take a shot like that is pretty impressive. I'll go with Hardie though.

Really have no idea who to pick for man of the match. No standouts since we were so dominating.
Ok then. Morais since his goal was a boody cannonball.

MacKay for his silky run into the box to set-up the Doc. Not really a bad player on the park though credit it to the whole team.

Stand out tonight has to be Liam. His runs off the ball were amazing, always finding space and creating space for his team mates. As well as this, he always came back when he had to or when Hardie and Sheerin were found further up the park.
Other than that, his flick through to Savo for the first was immense and perfectly timed.. good all round performance.
Too hot headed though, couldv been sent off twice over, have no idea why he made the squad never mind the starting 11..

The Wizard for me ahead of Hardie and Liam. Nobody underperformed though - Grainger and Mackay were both excellent and even Main didn't muck up any kicks.

Hardie for me. Bossed the midfield well and even managed a Zidane-esque turn.
and even Main didn't muck up any kicks.
What about the one that about went out for a corner in the first half :P

I went for Dave Mackay in the end but Liam Craig deserves a shout as well. Hardie and Sheerin generally controlled things but thought Hardie took a while to get into the game and Sheerin had a few bad passes, which is obviously unlike him. Full backs got forward well though and McCaffrey and Gartland gave nothing away to Hislop or Scott.

A pretty easy cruise to victory, with no player really head and shoulders above any of the rest.
On balance I'd give it to Morais for THAT goal and his cocky celebration afterwords. He was also doing a pretty fine job in putting himself about the park and wasn't scared of tracking back and picking the ball up himself.
A fine display.

In fairness, he didn't have much of anything to do all night.
Still, don't see why folk knock his kicks so much. If I can put that amount of power behind a football when im too old to be having a mid-life crisis, i'll be happy.
