Incredible! I'm no Boro fan myself but that really is an amazing achievement.

Bloody ITV4 though, why did it have to be on a channel I don't get? Why not Five or Sky Sports?

yepp, some game but Basle were pretty crap in the second half apart from that Eduardo - he is some player. I'm married into a Boro family so there's a fair bit of excitement here at the moment. Actually, I'm dragging brother-in-law to Dumfries next week - then he'll see REAL excitement!!
I've not warned him about the 208 ladies yet though :***: 8)

Argh! Smog-monsters!

Isn't a bit dangerous taking your brother-in-law to Dumfries? Won't all that fresh air have a damaging effect on him? And just how drunk were you when you decided to marry someone with three heads? The forum must have answers!

(Just kidding by the way big man but. )

Best game on TV this week

I hope they get to the final. Four goals needed to get through and they make it with seconds to spare. What football is all about

The point about Boro's attendances has been made before but yet again it left a lot to be desired. A UEFA Cup quarter-final with less than 25,000 turning up to see it - pretty unimpressive.

Those who did turn up will be feeling smug though having seen one of the best results in their history.

I know what you mean Dev but that was their 17the cup tie of the season! There is also the small matter of premiership games to add in too.

As youll know, it aint exactly the land flowing with milk and honey round Boro way, seats arent cheap and all the games have been live on tv.

Dont be too hard on them!

ignoring dev's stereotypical and possibly racist remarks about smoggies ( :***: ) - did you see how many England youth internationals Boro have on their books? The most of any team in the country, i think I heard 19.

They are certainly a team for the future! Think the gaffer knew the team would take a few poundings this season, but stuck with these younger boys in order to give them experience!

Seems to me english teams are making a habit of these dramatic come- backs - look at Liverpewl last year. They fight to the finish - pity we don't see many teams capable of pulling off results like that Nth of the border.

Just have "normal" telly so never saw it

Must have been absolutely amazing...again. A guy that occasionally plays 5's with us is a Boro boy and he was going tonight.

Do they just go for it once they go 2 down ???

Last I saw the other Semi was 0-0...again...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

'Mon The Boro

After watching two goals in four Champions League semi-final games, the UEFA Cup makes a refreshing change.

The Champions League is rubbish - FACT. I never watch it unless I'm totally desperate. The last time it was good was when Man United won it!

Fantastic effort my Middlesbrough to comeback amazingly TWICE in a row. Brilliant.

I think the people criticizing the Champions League are off the mark. The 0-0 Barcelona Milan game was fantastic. There doesnt have to be goals for a great match. 0-0 Bolton Fulham is boring, but this game certainly wasnt.

i never really support english teams but i would rather see them hammering european teams, it means more football on tv :) and i just dont like european football as much - especially those annoying italians!

Not this year but as I have a two Hampden debentures I should be there next year as long as Hampden and UEFA sort it all out

Tonight was just one game too far for Brough. Sevilla were the best team but if big Mark had put away that chance and made it one all then you never know what could have happened

I turned the sound down on ITV and listened to Radio Cleveland. Great to hear them getting behind their team and better than the usual ITV stuff
