After a very quiet October month where we never managed to get any games played due to the return with the 208 Saints falling through we are pleased to report that we get back to buisness against our old friends from the Social Work on Sunday 1ST NOVEMBER KICK OFF 3PM at McDiarmid Park astroturf. The Squad will be minus Steve Macphee (Holiday), Ian Strawson (Illness) Whilst Grant Morrison is doubtful at this time. We will also have 3 new players as Ian Hutchison steps up from the monday squad, Andy O'Brian who returns from the days of the old Saints Supporters team, and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome him back to the fold. The third new face is young Ben Petrie who joins us from the Ormond Saints academy otherwise known as Bells Sports Centre.
Our last game against the Social Work was back in the early summer, where on a scorching hot Letham day at Seven Acres we succumbed to two late goals in a 2-0 loss. On the day it was evenly matched in terms of chances but despite a rally towards the end we just couldn't grab an equaliser and the Social Work broke away in added time to seal the win. Previous to that we played them at McDiarmid earlier in the year and again lost, this time 3-0.
After the game we will be having a team meeting in Ormonds Bar, to which everyone is required to attend. On the agenda will be the trip to Appin next month, plans for an appearance at the Leyton Orient Chaos Cup next year and plans for the 2010/11 season amongst other things.
