View Full Version : URGENT - World Cup Fundraiser - DEADLINE 9th JUNE 2006 @ 5pm
Not a topic been started on this so thought I might as well promote it some more.......
PSJ are trying to boost the nearly non-existent club funds by running a prediction fundraiser related to the forthcoming World Cup. There is a 50 quid 1st prize, with 20 quid and 10 quid going to however comes 2nd and 3rd. 1 go costs 1 measly pound and really would help PSJ in more ways than you can imagine (upgrading equpiment, pitch hire, strip washing, entry to tournaments etc...). If you fancy having a go, you can get one from most PSJ players or stopping Kev or myself who will have a batch at the next home game (against Hamilton). For those of you who have got one they can be sent back to myself at the address on the form.

NOTE TO PSJ PLAYERS: Completed forms must be returned to me in order to be eligible for the competition. If you have a batch completed, send them to me to save you trying to remember bringing them along to the next PSJ game (remember and bring the money though!). We will have more games before the date on the form, so you can still buy some then.
Folk that have made some money from this already should try to bring completed sheets and money this Saturday so that G can collect them. The sooner he gets them in the better so that we know where we stand in relation to fundraising.
If anyone needs more sheets or does not have any sheets at all then there will be plenty to go round on Saturday that you can pick up. Also if anyone wants to buy any they can do so!!
G and I were thinking of going to the Muirton Suite on Saturday before the Saints game to try and offload some - if anyone wants to join us then feel free or if they have any other ideas let us know.
Next month as well there should hopefully be an auction of Saints related goods. This will run in a similar way to the one Kev is running at the moment on Saints Chat. Keep your eye on Saints chat for details.
Finally will probably run a sweep of some kind on Saturday for the Scottish Grand National. Bring your pounds!!

Get into the 208/Ormonds or ask tannoyman Kevin to announce it as a fundraiser for the club and say the fundraisers are available form x and y at exit F or something if they wish to purchase one and have the chance of winning a top prize of £50!

We have done the 208/Ormonds/Muirton Suite. Good idea about saying to tannoy bloke - pity there are no games left!!

Time ticking on with these - folk should bring completed sheets and money to G on Sunday at the Stirling Albion game. The amount sold to date has been relatively low and needs to be stepped up if we are to make a success of this. Cheers.

Would prefer if some cats could bring some money and completed forms this weekend - save me carrying around loads of money and sheets on the one day. I appreciate that you lot wont give a toss anyway and do it your own way so nevermind :roll: Put it this way - as far as I can tell thanks to returned money and sheets, if it wasn't for Al we would be losing serious money with this venture.

Think G just wants to keep on top of where we are at with the fundraising and in that respect the more money in the better and easier for him to keep track.
As the World Cup gets closer though think you will be right and we should be able to shift a lot more of these.

Any fundraising money yet to be handed in can be posted to me in the from of a cheque (made payable to Perth St Johnstone Football Club) or given to our Captain to look after until the next time I see him. Ok Captain? :wink:
Thanks to all those who bought and sold the predictors. We have done very well out of it and have raised much needed funds both for WorldNet and for the season ahead.
