How important do people think it is to stay in this till the later rounds?
Alot, myself included feel one of the reasons of success is down to the back up players having a lack of football, this cup allows players time on the pitch, not as much as may be required however, but some none the less. what do you think?

Very impotant indeed. Bar from getting the players much needed match practice, how else am I going to escape the drudgery of ripping my flat to pieces and rebuilding it

Nothing beats match fitness for our guys, plus silverware is always welcome

Tonight's match has been postponed, presumably the pitch is frozen

Why was this game postponed and a closed doors game played instaed, surely some sort of infringment of rules?

The rules would be there the same as cup competitions in junior/amateur leagues, ie games must be played by a certain date rather than on a certain date.
I think both sides would have agreed to the postponement so a) we get to look at the Polish trialists and b) they can do likewise or rest up some injured players and give some fringe players a run-out without comprimising this competition.
