I thought it was great. The presence of the Perth FM people was a good idea as well. Music was good and the place was bouncing to the strains of 500 Miles by the proclaimers. It also helped because this year they told us when it was gonna start and when it was done. The fireworks were magnificent and although the premature setting off of the Craige Hill pyrotechnics was a shame we still all saw them so it was no big deal..Huge crowd as well. That's the most I have ever seen at it.. Well done to the organisers:D

Thought it was pretty poor to be honest - on both counts - inch and craigie hill. I would imagine that both sets of fireworks were on timers so there was some mess up somewhere along the line! The Craigie Hill fireworks were really poor, not much of a finale to the inch ones - even if they had fired off on time. Although some of the inch pyro was the same as previous years, such as the finale - it just did not seem as good as its been in previous years unfortunately.

I wasnt at the Inch watching them but I would have put the money in the orange buckets before or even after the display had i been there! I quite resent that comment actually. No matter how poor the show was I would be quite happy to support the charity.
I totally appreciate as well the organisation that goes into arranging such a display but I only thought that to me it seemed poorer to previous years displays, and very disappointed with the finale for all it had been hyped up to be in the papers.
For a finale me and my mate were expecting a few minutes of high level pyro, and not what was set off from up the hill, which was for the most part fairly low level basic effects. The finale, which had it been set off on time, was not a finale that would have complimented the inch display. It was just disappointing and a total anti-climax for what I was expecting, hence the comments in my previous post!
