The weather in Perthshire has been so strange for the last 2 days

Last night I struggled to get the car out of the car park at work by Methven due to snow and get back to Perth and its all gone. This morning open the curtains to rain and think there will be no problems at work, yet between Perth and Methven it turns to snow and the road to the office was almost impassable. We then had no power in the office which was freezing so after 2 hours of waiting we were all sent home. By this time my car needs cleared of snow yet when I get back to Perth the roads are all black.

At a guess the A9 will be bad both north and south of Perth as we must be right on the freezing level

I go to school in crieff and we were sent home yesterday because of the snow, was very surprised to hear the school was also closed today considering the weathers fine in perth.. apparently the roads are a nightmare though. I'm not complaining, Nice wee day in bed.

Its the sign of the times...we are going to have a serious problem on our hands if the gouverments dont take some preventive action..2003 over 60.000 people died in europe due to the heat wave..we risk having drivers loosing control of their cars buses trains planes etc..forset fires like we get here in france spain italy greece portugal corsica croatia slovenia turkey...the world over..austraila america...aye its a problem..and the emergency services should be put on alert as soon as possible in order to deal with what might be a dramatic summer..and also its unsupportable..wheres the joy in it?..the body isnt made to recieve extreme temperatures as like

Spooky weather this morning after all that rain, going down the A9 at 6:15 this morning and the clouds seemed to be dipping down to the ground in places.

Leaving the house this morning I looked out ofer the Tay and thought of that great Lindisfarne song converted for us: "The fog on the Tay is all mine, all mine, The fog on the Tay is all mine"

My forecast for Scotland..its going to be very hot..so hot you mustnt let the beer stand still..down it in one..this will contiue on towards august where it will get even more hot..might even depass the french riveria..so cancel your holidays if your intending visiting..stay indoors between 12hoo and 17h00..sun tans..the damage is done..you might regret it in later years..the body/skin of north europeans is not equiped for it

it happens even in Scotland especially at this time of year and it has been a very bad year for the weather! hot when it should of been cold and cold when it should of been hot...approaching spring the soil is thawing out and loosening the rocks (250 ton rock fell on this dudes house here and there has been other cases too,in the Alps and Pyrenees

other bad effect of this mild winter and then the sudden siberian cold spell we had a couple of weeks ago is....the bees! feeling the sun they reactivated thinking its spring and leave there hives to find no buds with pollen....so many starve and then the cold comes back and they die of hypothermia. fruit trees develop their blossoms then freeze and will not be able to grow till next year
fresh food(fruit and vege will cost more!
its a problem that affects evry one

pollen comes with spring and causes allergies.French drs are submerged by appintments from people who are suffering...not to be laugthed at as it can be dangerous as well as costly
can you pilot an airbus with an hay fever?
or drive a 43 tonne lorry?
some precautions are recommended
open your windows 15 mins in the morning and in the evening
avoid sports like running in the country side
wear wrap around shades
avoid chemical solvents for house cleaning

we have had our first forest fires...there will be more to come
water levels are two thirds lower than what they should be
speed restrictions being imposed
skin cancer is becoming more and more common
