This year I am entering 2 teams into this tournament, 1 representing PSJ, another the Old Saints Supporters Team. It takes place on Saturday 3rd June.
Gist of the day is... leave Perth early on a mini-bus, play a variety of other supporters teams from Wales, England and Scotland, whilst enjoying a beer or more.
Then onto a party night, which is the same guys, a quiz, disco and lots of beer and then bus back to Perth. Obvioulsy Weegies can get their own way.
What I'm looking for is interested names, and I mean names interested in staying there till 1am dancing and drinking and being dicks, not guys who want to play and then bugger off... well?
Would like to play but thats the same day as a mates 30th therefore would be unlikely to make after event.
Will confirm further when I know my plans.

I'm gonna be quite firm on people playing need to come to the evening unless we are struggling. Makes for a better night.
Think I might have something on wi the band that day but if not i should make it.

Details will be announced tonight!
Keep the faith!
looks like I can play in this again but wont be available in the evening.
Like Burn I am happy to play if needed but won't be available for festivities later on.
Therefore happy enough to be told not needed during the day if we have enough players.
Any PSJ folk that are available should do their utmost to try and participate in this; should be a good day oot with football thrown in.

Details are as follows...
Perth folk meet at Safeways at 8.45am.
Wonka & Eric Laing are driving.
Also from Perth are Me, Rocket, Geezer, Elvis, Dunbar & Chub.
Juan & Fat Gav might be here too.
Meet at Cowglen (see above) at 10.30. I will provide both teams with tops. The Weegies we are expecting to meet are...
Al, Woody, Dorothy, McCallum and two of his mates & Dale.
Costs will be £3 to get through for petrol.
£5 to play
To get a lift home, drivers can agree with passengers.
Those who are staying for the night should keep £15 for transport but it wont cost all that!
(Bring a carry out for the journey home).
Please reply on here if youy see this, understand it all and are okay with it. Ta.
McCallum, please let me know what like your mates are, what positions they play, etc, you too... and Dale!?
Cheers boys!
Makes sense to me Captain!! Directions seem to be correct to me and there should be a train station nearby for anyone that needs.
If McCallum can illuminate us on his talents and those of his mates then that would be appreciated. Being a Feldy boy though I imagine no probs here :D
If Dale can do the same that would be great. Cheers.
Kev and I will try our best to put two teams together, can't promise to please everyone but will do our best. Seem to lack keepers so might just be a case of taking turns.
Cheers

all sounds gd 2 me
Kev, What's the name of the facility?
I'm guessing it's one.
Pollok Leisure Centre
Cowglen Road
Glasgow
G53 6EW
But then your multimap shows somehere else?
I'm fairly talentless but I was hoping you'd all be too drunk to notice that.
Prefer to be played in some wide midfield role but what is the formation in a 6's match anyway? 2-2-1 ?
Is it the same size as a Fives pitch?
Not sure if i'll be staying for the festivities after the football.
Hope its cool but my brother and my pal are gonna come offer some support about 2:30pm assuming we're sill playing so I dunno if they'll want to stick around afterwards.

I am pretty sure that is the one, the map is maybe not great but the directions seem about right so if you follow them you should be sound.

Don't worry about that!! Yes 2-2-1 is the adventorous way that we will play I would imagine, certainly in my team. Kev might have different ideas though!! Pitch maybe a little bit bigger than fives one.

No worries, always good to have an away support!!
McCallum, please let me know what like your mates are, what positions they play, etc, you too... and Dale!?
For info I can exclusively reveal the following about McCallum and his mates!!
McCallum - midfield floater!!
Matt - big lad, left peg, striker!!
Kyle - hard working defender!!
Cheers!!
I'm guessing it's more likely this one

I say that because the one in the directions kev posted (to postcode G53 6EW ) looks like it shuts at 4pm and doesnt have a bar.
Hopefuly Kev will be able to get some confirmation on this.
You are correct Dale. The pollok centre is further down the road.

To echo Rocket's thoughts, a superb day on Saturday!!
Am sure the night was equally as good too. Was good to play in a tournament where there was quality banter with the opposition and nobody took themselves too seriously - apart from Sparta Jag of course.
And of course PSJ were the plate champions with penalty shoot out final win over Nottingham Forest!! All six penalties scored!! Personal highlight though had to be comprehensive quarter final win over Rangers - always nice!!
Full breakdown of stats etc will be available on the seperate thread once I get round to it.
Next scheduled appearance for PSJ is at WorldNet!! We may get a game organised before then though so watch this space.
Cheers
Al
