Bit of help please guys....

I have two signed balls for my raffle for Saturday from different seasons, can somebody tell me what season please?

Ball 1 (Courtesy of DaveMc) has Kevin Thomas, Miguel Simao, John O'Neil, Biscuits and Nathan Lowndes signatures. also Main and Weir's btu that won't help which season!

Ball 2 (courtesy of Ian) has Steve Tosh, John O'Neil, Preston, McQuillan and Andy Whiteford.

If people need more names to determin which season throw some naems at me and i'll try and guess their signatures!

Ball 1 - 1998/99 at a very reasonable guess as they were all members of the side that qualified for Europe, although come to think of it, it may be 99/2000 as can't remember when Kevin Thomas signed it :roll:

Ball 2 - You'd be looking around 1995/96 or 96/97 for Andy Whiteford to be included.

I think ball 1 has to be 99/2000, as I don't think Kevin Thomas was with us when we finished 3rd, but he did play in Europe for us. Any later than that and you wouldn't have Miguel or Lowndes.

Ball 2 could be one of either 95/96 or 96/97, as each of those players were here for both of those seasons.

It would depend on what point of the season the balls were signed - but Attila and Jenkinson signed midway through 95/96, so if those two are on it I'd say it's more likely to be from 96/97.

John Colquhoun and Keith O'Halloran signed towards the end of 96/97, so if those two are on it it's definitely from 96/97.

We didn't have a Dow at the time IIRC - although we were probably linked with Andy Dow yet again!!!

Might it be Gow? When did Garry Gow have his stint here? Anyway, with Thomas on it and the rest of that lot, it has to be 99/2000.

...or 95/96? I think each of those players were here for both of those seasons. Unless Steve Tosh maybe wasn't here until 96/97? Is Gary Bowman on the ball, Hazel? I think he was here for 96/97, but not 95/96.

Can anyone remember if we signed anyone during the summer between 95/96 and 96/97? Finding that out would be the best way to determine which of the 2 years it is, methinks.
