It really was a labour for Saints last night, despite the manager adopting far from a conservative approach. Maybe weren't helped by a pitch which although it looked green wasn't great and a referee who certainly couldn't be described as liberal with the yellow cards in the first half.
Who wins the most important vote you'll make today then?
I think young Josh Falkingham can be very proud of his debut and, as is so often is the case, I'm gonna give it to the guy making his first appearance.

Danny for me very solid!!
No real standouts, but Chris Millar had a very good 1st half, so on this basis he's getting my vote.

Grainger.
Thought Millar was good too, and Falkingham impressive once he settled down after coming on.

Opted for Falkingham. Brushed off the ball on a few occasions, but showed equal parts skill and tenacity. Plus, his perseverance should have resulted in a penalty.
It was interesting to note, well for me anyway, that Jody Morris gave the ball away more times last night than in any other Saints games I've seen combined. Still a big fan, though.

Grainger for me. Some superb tackles and always willing to assist in attack. Wee Josh certainly got stuck in and showed no little skill. Excellent debut from the wee man.

Falkingham for keeping it interesting.
Mentions to Doooobs, Grainger and Millar - who if he'd played as well 2nd half would have been a shoo in.
