Another "home" game for us Edinburgh Saints this week, always enjoyable events with many an ale consumed.

Does anyone have any ideas what the plan of action is? Artisan again?

I can't make this as off to Marrakech tomorrow. Here's hoping the refs are on strike and the game is rearranged for the following Wednesday!!

I had mentioned that it may have been beers and bacon rolls at mine, however due to now having a Scottish Junior Cup tie, it will no longer be so. I shall, however, endeavour to join you fine ladies out after the match, somewhere local to the flat (most likely the Four In Hand or Artisan)

Will be up about 1, as just coming off a night shift, usual watering hole before the game?? or somewhere different like the safari lounge

See all you ladies then.

If the game not on anyone still on for a few beers

In the past when we have played Hibs we have met up in the Artisan bar on London Road. Good banter in there and If I remember correctly the vast majority of the Perth lads were in there as well.

After the game we have been known to frequent Rose Street for the odd libation or two.

Aye a few nice metal railings beside the door and a couple of packets of crisps:laugh: that does the trick, saying that its a busy street and usually one of our lot is out for a ciggie so you have ready made baby sitters when you have your pint!!

My mate owns the wee cafe on the other side of the stairs....could sit them in there with a juice and a bowl of chips I guess

What age are they?

There's a McDonalds just along the road if they are old enough to walk a couple of minutes down the road on their own.

If I send them to McDonalds they will be too fat to walk the couple of minutes back!!

My laddie is 6....not taking the 2 year old lassie...my mates boy is 10, and if his sister and her mate come, they are about 14....that qualifies as 'in the care of a responsible adult' in my book

If you go to the four in hand (where Mr Kane has already said Saints will be wlcomed!) then there is a back bar, so hopeully the kids would be allowed in there.

IIRC he said he does allow kids in the lounge, hidden through the back. The pub has an over 21 rule to keep out the riff raff but I'm pretty sure he said it wouldn't be a problem.

I was pretty damn drunk at the time though!

Take it there's no pre-pub bacon rolls on offer from any of the East Enders? Poor show. :)

Shut it you  Just bored with the forum, but keep an eye on the Edinburgh section.

I'm picking my brother up the bus station about 11 then going back to mine for some bacon rolls. Anyone who wants to come then let me know by text or PM and i'll give you my address. I'm happy to make the food just bring your own beer:wink:
