I'd have him back here. Although possibly injury prone these days which is disappointing, but a good player when he was here before!

sadly for a 28 year old i think his best days may be past - not sure he is able to play enough games now to really be an option. good luck to him

Sad to see what's happened to Danny, I always rated him really highly and his attitude was always fantastic as well. Given his horrendous injury record though, I'd be quite surprised to see any club want to add him to their wage bill, let alone one in the SPL. For sentiment's sake I'd love to see him back at Saints, but sadly I think giving him a contract would be a massive waste of money.

Just for the record i'd like to point out that Danny has actually been fit for most of the season and hasn't been playing cause they want him off the wage bill rather than through injury.

Was about to say the same, as I have kept up-to-date with his unhappy spell with Stockport, so it was great to see you sticking up for your brother-in-law :***:

Would be great to see him back up here, though preferably in a Saints strip. as he is still a Saints man through and through.

Would Danny rate as the best young player to have come through our ranks in the last 15 years.

I know Callum and Phizzy have played in the top flight in England, but to be capped at virtually every level is a great achievement.
