View Full Version : FAO PSJ Kit and Equipment Officer Nuggets & Committee
Nuggets - How are PSJ doing for equipment such as nets, pegs, balls etc at the moment?
Depending on Nuggets answer, I propose that we as a club invest in a couple of decent match balls and four or five cheaper ones and a ball bag (some may say we already have a few in the team). What are the committees thoughts?
You can get the Umbro X400 ball which came 2nd in a test of 25 balls prior to the World Cup for around a tenner so was thinking about a couple of those and then 4 or 5 of the cheaper ones from Sports Soccer or wherever to ensure we always have balls to warm up with etc. Not wanting to get too professional about this but would be good to have a decent match ball.
If Nuggets can update me, or if anyone else can post what we might need equipment wise, I can look and see what funds are available.
Agreed, would be good to have some footballs. Need to make sure we look after them though as we seem to lose a lot of them.
Nets, pegs etc could probably do with being refreshed but Nuggets can confirm if needed.
How about a whistle, red/yellow cards, stop watch just so we have them when doing a spot of reffing?

To save you some money I have a bag of pegs which I keep meaning to pass on to Kev or Nuggets.

Cheers. Much appreciated. Will start to make a list of things we might be best having and can take it from there.

Not going to have much space in my new pad so would anyone like to volunteer to be Chief Ball Co-Ordinator?

Already have got one football, a replica off the football they are using at the world cup the ball set me back £15, we are alright at the moment for pegs, and the nets are fine not that we will use them much this season.

Do you want reimbursed for this purchase? No problem if so. What are we like for practice footballs?
I was thinking of making up a small sort of medical bag as Woody's bandage came in handy last time. Thoughts?

Can't go wrong with a medical bag really.
Thanks to TS we should be alright for pegs and Nuggets thinks so too. Reckon this means some practice balls and a medical bag should be purchased if possible. The balls of course need to be looked after or else no point buying them.

We could do with some practice balls, would be nice to get reimbursed but in no hurry for it.
