Dominated the first half and although the second was more even, has to be viewed as one we should have won. Several good performances though...

Davidson! Invincible was good, but his final ball was very poor.

Davidson! Invincible was good, but his final ball was very poor.

He hasn't had enough time to find out who likes what sort of ball yet, which is why, imho, his passes sometimes go astray. He gets mt vote.

Davidson for me,no such thing as a lost cause in his head, talking of which he puts his head in where others wouldn't put there foot.A great tenacious performance today from him.

Agree with Davidson. Really determined performance.

I thought Mackay had a good one, really helped Invincible down the right and we were certainly more of a threat down that side.
I do think that Davidson and Adams look like a good prospect, heavy tackling hard hitting stuff but Davidsons final ball really let him down today, after doing all the hard work with some great runs he never really delivered. On a good pitch i would suspect it would have been different.

Think Adams bein in there helped Muzz, Invincable was great giving us a whole right hand side- Sammy again worked hard but should have scored, Garts and Ando solid again. Nice to be struggling for MoM in a good way

Invincible just shaded it for me with Davidson a close 2nd. Unfortunately our inability to score looks like it's going to cost us a top 6 place. Should have hammered Aberdeen on Wed & missed some good chances today.

Really liking the look of our midfield last couple of games - nice to know that when Jody is out, we don't collapse. Will be evn better when Mooner is also available.

Muzz just shades it for me due to his first half performance in particular. Danny I a very close second and good to see him still running late into the game. Adams was also a top performer.

I've become very negative towards Jody of late, and not just for his performances with a sore back.
We are like a different (forward moving, positive) team when he's not playing.
Shoot me down if you like, it's just how I see it.

Invincible from Davidson and then Anderson.

Invincible certainly looks worthy of a contract next season so far.

Said that today as well.

He's given us an extra dimension. 2 year deal for him IMO.

Agreed.

Jodie (when playing well) has certain attributes that are required during some games, such as composure on the ball and playing the right pass, we benefit from this mostly playing better teams on larger pitches. The flip side is that play is often slowed down, there is no crisp one touch pasing and occasionally he will be caught in posession due to him wanting too long or showboating on his part.

However over the 5 or 6 games Jodie hasn't managed to achieve this level of performance, perhaps due to his back injury and is now getting the chance to regain his fitness.

I thought yesterdays team performance was improved considerably with the introduction of Adams and the team played a lot of good football in midfield, albeit with too little chances created in relation to posession in the first half especially.

Thers no doubt Jody is a class act, but the team MUST always come first.

Start the same 11 at Brechin please Del.

p.s. Is Novikovas Brechin tied??:laugh::laugh::laugh:

p.p.s. voted for Samuel, thought he was immense today and would have kept him on instead of peaso at subbie time

According to the prat sitting behind me in the second half, Muzz was a waste of space and just walked arround the pitch and never tried to keep up with play - who was right, him or all the votes on here?

Danny I for me, just shaded it from Muzza and Peaso.
A great outlet for us - lost count how many times he taken the ball for a 20/30 yard run to take us out of our own half.
Another mention to Jamie Adams who looks like he will compliment Muzza in the middle. Cant believe i am saying this but they got to start at brechin next week and boss the middle from the first minute. They will not let thier midfield have a minutes peace.
Jody to stay benched. Get him fully fit.

Voted for Collin Samuel, he is looking fitter and stronger and really does put a shift in, even with the over zealous attention of the hibs defence

Muzz for me. His ball winning in midfield is as good as anyone in premier league. Now looking a lot more confident in possession

Murray for me. I think Invincible gives us something we have been missing. An option going forward in the wide areas. When he is fully fit Jody will find him with ease. Also think the front two deserve a lot of credit for opening up space, we will soon take advantage of this. Central defence solid too. As someone else said good to have candidates and haven't mentioned all who played well.

Think he was playing better with Jody not there. He took responsibility in midfield instead of looking to pass it to Jody.

Davidson was superb and definitely MOM.

Gartland and Ando did well as did MacKay. Peaso linked well again and we dominated the high balls all over the park with some intelligent knock downs.
