Was speaking to a colleague from another office on Friday and he was telling me that Stuart Malcom (he of being sent off against Celtic on his debut for us) is involved in today's FAI Cup final for Drogheda United against Cork City (the equivalent being us against one of the OF) in today's Irish FA Cup Final.

As Cork have already won the league, it means Drogheda have qualified for the UEFA Cup whether they win or lose! However, what is more of a shock, it appears the Irish reckon Malcolm is a better striker than defender and he has been playing up front all season

Colm didn't mention bernie so will call him up on that once he gets back from, hopefully, celebrating their cup victory!

This is just a wild stab in the dark, but perhaps he's injured?

Drogheda done it, winning 2-0. Of the 2 ex-Saintees there only Paul Bernard played and that was as an injury time substitute. A few beers appear to have gone down already judging by the phone calls and text messages from Ireland!!!
