It certainly brings back memories, wonder what ever happend to that RBS mob that used to cause mayhem at reserve matches?

Yes, the much-feared Reserve Baby Squad (RBS)... I think most have grown out of that sort of imaginary mindless violence and hooliganism these days. The three figure-heads though never really grew out of it, one has been expelled from the country, another was recently seen still up to his old tricks, being thrown out of a Saints v Dundee game whilst the third is often seen carrying around pool & snookers cues and balls, presumably for weaponry!

The writing was on the wall for the RBS when the splinter group 'Jimmy Reilly Fan Club' showed a more sensible, all seated view to reserve football in the early days of McDiarmid Park. The RBS will long live in the memory of anyone who encountred them though... can anyone remember the MBS... nope, didn't think so!!

Folks,

Quality photo's - was wondering Real the Villa pics - was the score something like 3-0 and a young Daily (spelling) a standout that day. Did we also play Shrewsbury around the same time?

Cheers
Stanley

some nice piccies there, ah the memories. i only wish i was old enough to have really appreciated muirton park more, sadly i was 7 when we moved to mcdiarmid and those memories i do have are vague, shall we say.
