Thanks to Radford for assisting with pulling this together...

With me ending up not missing the Stranraer game, I decided to sit and work out how many games I have been to consecutively and then how many of these games were wins etc...

436 games (371 League, 20 Scottish Cup, 23 League Cup, 18 Challenge Cup and 4 Uefa Cup).
Won 180, Drew 104, Lost 152,
I've seen 1103 goals (595 for, 508 against, Goal Difference +87)
If you got points for cup ties, we'd have 644 points!!

What a team!

I'll need to keep working this back and see how man I've been to in total etc... one day!

How much money have you spent roughly do you think over the years watching, supporting and drinking at and before and after the games.

Throw in match programs, travel expanses, merchandise, it would be a small fortune I reckon.

:D

I worked it out for myself over the course of the 2003/04 season where I went to every Saints match and every Scotland match (home and away - 7 matches, 4 away) and worked out on an average 3720 GBP

PS Damn the pound signs

Even at twenty quid a game, which is way under what I'd generally pay, that's 8,720!!!!

Not in the last ten years (which all these games are from, as stated)... but thanks ever so much for the start in life

The football family that drink together and watch games together, stays together

Imagine your away trips if Scotland was a country the same size of Australia.

A few weeks ago I went to Perth in Western Australia, I had the choice a 3 day drive or coach trip, a 52 hour train trip or a 4 1/2 hr plane trip.

Thank god I went the plane option and we only play over there twice a year.

First games of football I ever saw was at Muirton Park

Both my pop and dad took me there, picked me up and basically threw me over the turnstyles to get in.

Only saw my pop a few times because we lived down here and he was over there, but I will always remember those occasions.

St Johnstone FC - The family club :D

Back to topic. I'd say following Saints (especially recently) isn't boring as such.

Over the 20 years I have been watching Saints we have:

- been the worst side in Scotland
- taken over by a local businessman
- 2 promotions in the late 80's
- 4th place at Christmas in our first season up
- 2 relegations
- another first division championship
- 2 cup finals
- European football
- numerous managerial changes since Totten went!
- some international class players
- some not-so-international class players
- visits to nearly every Scottish league ground
- having a World Cup star at our club

Not dull at all!!!

There was also one season when we were briefly top of the SPL - okay, so it was only two games in, but I still took a picture of the table on Teletext to prove it!

So did I!

We've also had two streakers, taken the 'mighty' Rangers to a replay as a part time team, beaten Dundee 7-2 and 5-1...

wonder what other peoples best consecutive games record is? my best is from the 0-0 draw with hearts near the end of 93-94 until i missed the 1-0 win over killie at rugby park in autumn 97, when the flaming supporters bus broke down at condorrat, the cnut! then i never missed another game until the end of 2000, when work become a problem.
dont know exactly how many games that would be?

If you wanted the glory and trophies you would support the two bigots on the west coast

Being a saintee is all about the good and the bad times, its the bad times that make you cherish the good times.

You forgot to mention one of our supporters being offered the job to coach a national team, now how many other supporters have been offered the chance to coach a national team? :D
