Excellent performance from every player in the side - shows what happens when the team choice just clicks. Midfield of Hardie Mensing Sheerin and McLaren was just perfect.
Martin Hardie - I finally see what he brings to the team, he was outstanding today. He's my man of the match.

So many choices but had to be Hardie - his best performance for Saints by far. Great stuff and I loved seeing a wee bit of showboating (even played a one-two with the corner flag :) ).

I had previously noted your comments about Martin Hardie but never got round to discussing them. I think he's been superb for us ever since he signed and he'd be a definite first choice pick for me. It seems Coyle agrees as well. I think he's been influential in our recent successes. He doesn't look great up front but when he's put there he still gives it his all. I was surprised at your criticism of him really.
Anyway, Hardie was my Man of the Match today for sure. No bad performances at all in the side with Scotland and Milne deserving credit for their goals and McLaren for an excellent debut. They were all great today.

I voted Hardie - but it's likely if he had been on the pitch for 90 mins it would have been McLaren. He was a joy to watch and played well, some of his balls were fantastic. Lets hope he keeps this up as it's unlike Airdrie - he can be dropped if he doesn't play well. So keep it up McLaren!
Looks like i can sing "oor wee wullie" at most games now - willie dyer never got enough games to merit the song! :***:

I don't think it was a criticism as much as just not understanding what he added to the team though, Dev. I don't think at any stage I laid into him like I maybe did with Lawrie, for instance? I think out wide today he had more time on the ball, more time to think about what to do with it, more time to have a look at what was happening and that was good for him. When he's in the middle, he's obviously crowded a bit more and I agree, I don't like him up front at all. The move further out was a good one for me.
Hardie - absolutely superb - tackling,passing,showboating - love it.
Jason and Savo were excellent too - and McLaren (1st half).

Tricky one because there was alot a good Performaces yesterday. Well done to Mensing, Savo, McLaren, and McManus. Hard to choose between Hardie and Jason who where both excellent, but he got a Hat - trick, so its got to be Jason.

Cant seem to vote automatically, go for Savo,a goal less than Jase, but worked that bit harder in tracking back.Mentions to Hardie, McManus,Jase ,thought Lawrie had hie best game yet!
