Savo for me, even ignoring the goal. Great commitment and work ethic on a day when skill was sadly lacking.
Anderson was man of the match, his best game in a Saints shirt and maintained composure when Airdrie were throwing everything they had at us.
It's a great reflection on our squad that we can be without our 2 first choice defenders and still not concede a goal, and Sheridan did his job well when he came on as sub- break up the plays and get rid of the ball when we were under pressure.

I think we didn't concede a goal more because Airdrie were incapable of scoring rather than anything else. I felt our back line, especially the two wide players were extremely shakey at times and McManus was left to really hold things together for which he is my man of the match.
I didn't think Anderson was very good, I have seen him play better - alongside James incidentally.

I go for Anderson as he was the only good defender today. McManus hardly won a ball in the air today although otherwise not bad. Lawrie was absolute shit & Stanic is a wingback & not a full back.

Mensing for me - another blood 'n' guts performance in midfield

Jason Scotland for me. He's changing in style, bringing other players into the game more and looking for the through ball. Him and Savo are linking well too.

It was either Mensing or Anderson for me! Ended up going for Mensing. Thought he was great in midfield today.

i think the solution to all of our problems is...........confidence in shooting i mean look at goran ive only seen goran take one dig at goal and well looked at what happend . and look at mensing against raith rovers last year scored a good goal from nearly the corner flag and just the other day from 30 yards so it shows that we can score we just need CONFIDENCE! :D

Sheerin and Scotland are the only players who aren't scared to constantly have a pop at goal! Could do with seeing more players having a strike on goal.

god dont get me started on sheerin what a bloddy good strike he has on him did anyone see his shot hitting the bar in the cup game (cant rememba what one ) OMG :o
I'll go for Jason - another game where he was pulled all over the place - he better watch those elbows though, looked to me as though he caught the Airdie no 4.
How can some players (Sheerin, Hardie) look superb in some games and be completely anonymous in t'others.
dude it would help if you also included that fab player called NO-ONE :D as well

Have to totally disagree with that - because every time he tried to run he either got hacked down or held back by his shirt
