PSJ travel to play Alloa supporters in a friendly game this coming Saturday. Full details to follow from Kev but game will take place in Alloa.

Kick off at 10am...
West End Park, Alloa... only directions I can find are on here (look at Lime Tree House directions) as you pass it. If anyone can do better please post it...

Perth folk meet at Morrisons at 8am... who's taking cars?
They will get grub organised if they can and we can make it :shock: so we should nip back for that if we have time... what do folk think before heading up to Dundee?

If we kick off at 10am then we should have time to head back to the pub, won't take that long to get up to Dundee.

actually, im pretty sure theres a bus that goes from the uni campus to alloa - i'll have to look in to that!
I might now be in Perth on Saturday morning anyway, so i shall let you know!

Kev travelling but not playing due to injury.
Al, G, Burn, Rodge - get own way there.
Pink - own way there but possibly leaving from Perth.
Elvis - own way there as on call with job in Alloa.
Nuggets, Geezer, Wonka, Chubb, Boyster, Juan and Mark - leaving from Perth, Kev to sort out.
Any probs give me or Kev a shout. Cheers.
Some further directions;
Heading from Bridge of allan head to Alloa Town centre. You will come to a roundabout at the bottom of Tullibody with belhaven and other units on the right hand side go straight on there and keep on that road. You will come to a roundabout just after the cricket ground. Take a right there and keep on that road, straight on at the mini roundabout until you come to a T junction take a right there and the park is about 300 yards along that road in on your left hand side. You go through big gates and the changing rooms are there. It'll be quite busy, there will probably be acouple of kids games on, so you may have to park on the main road.

Up to you if you play mate but if you are injured don't make it any worse. We have no game next Saturday so would give you a wee break to get fit.

Cheers Roy, will not delete this post now that you have identified yourself!!
A game against team from Arbroath would be sound as would another fixture against the Alloa boys again, maybe in Perth this time.
This game finished in a high scoring 6-4 victory for the Alloa team in a very entertaining match. PSJ MOM was Chubb, oppostion MOM was Capt.
Some of the football we played at times was superb and I have not seen us create that many chances in a game probably ever, especially in the second half. Just a pity that our finishing was to put it politely a bit wild!! We did score some good goals though.
We need to be more determined in stopping the opposition from scoring goals. The goals were gave away were far too easy. It was deeply frustrating to come from two goals behind twice to make it 2-2 and 4-4 only to quickly concede two goals again and give ourselves it all to do. Basic errors in concentration are costing us dearly.
Cheers to Roy and Chubb for getting the game arranged against a good bunch of Alloa lads. Hopefully we can play them again soon.
Thanks also to Kev and Nuggets for taking a shot at the reffing, never an easy task.
No game this coming Saturday - next up is Social Work at home, Saturday 14th October, with 10.30am kick off. See seperate thread for details.
