Quite a few options but as seems to be my vote every week now, has to be the Wizard for me.

Didn't think we had a bad player today, Standouts were Sherrin, Hardie and Lawrie

Sheerin by far, and mentions for McManus and Lawson too

Sheerin = Wizard. Lawson had a good game as well. Some sublime passing from both of them today - looks like a good midfield partnership there. Sheerin gets it for being in the middle of everything, and for that peach of an opener.

Completely agree with what's been said. Sheerin MOM. Lawson had an excellent game as well - his passing in the first half something else!

The Wizard!! :D Lawson had a great game as well but Sheerin's goals and overall performance was outstanding.

Can't think of any other game in recent seasons where there's been such an overwhelming vote for MoM

I voted for Lawson but only because I knew Sheerin would have all the votes, both were brilliant today! Although they faded at the end, Sheerin as he was moved into the middle and Lawson because he's no games under his belt. Very excited at the prospect of Lawson being fit and playing lots of games, is he here all season or just til Christmas? Was dying for Sheerin to get his hat-trick as well would have been really deserved.

Lawson is just here till Xmas but there was an interview in the Sun today with him and he said he'd like to stay for the season - I'd imagine he could do what Adam did at the Paisley tinks last year and extend the deal.

Right, no doubt I'm wrong as usual but AFAIK Lawson can't extend the loan as he is over 21.

If both clubs agree, then why not? Silly rules like that really have no place in the game. 8)

You're right for a change Radders  Its a similar situation to MacGregor in that because he's over 21, the loan deal can only be for 6 months and can't be extended. The only alternative would be for Saints to sign him on a permanent deal

That's what I thought as well but as both the player and Oweny have said recently they would both like it to be for the season, I wonder if they have changed the rules :?

Hopefully that's the case as I think he could be crucial to our title challenge. Its pleasing to know that he's keen to stay longer. Do you think if we win the league, he would be keen to come here on a permanent deal if Strachan's prepared to let him go :?

My first ever MOM vote for Paul Sheerin. Was disappointed he didn't make it to our table in the hospitality but even with that negative mark he was still top dog.

There were alot of top performances today.

Sheerin,Lawson & McManus

But i will give it to Sheerin for his passing(as always), endeavor(as always), his two goals & for his general "Wizardness"

I went for Savo... He was immense today I felt... his work rate was the work of 2 strikers.

The number of balls he didn't give up on and won was amazing.

Went for Savo Milne for his workrate alone (given that Scotland seemed to be disinterested and doubled Savo's workload), but it could've been any one of 5 or 6 of your players today.

went for Lawson, his vision and reading of the game were excellent, actually reminded me of John Collins in his day. And according to my dear old ma, he looks like some bloke from Eastenders!

Sheerin was pure class, Goran was solid and was it just me or is Halliwells kicking improving?

Sheerin deserves it, he was outstanding today, and has been of late. He could of had 4 goals today. Love to see him getting the praise he deserves. Thats 3 goals in 2 games and 6 this season. Keep it up my man. :***: :***:

Thought Goran, Anderson, McManus, and Lawson where all excellent too. Savo worked his ass off as usual, but the whole team should be praised, great performance. :D :D

Considering how well Lawson played should underline how well Sheerin actually done. 88% of the votes is impressive.

Difficult to remember. I'll check this seasons but the one that springs immediately to mind is maybe Cuthbert vs St Mirren last December.

Like Broon says, Lawson's performance usually would've been enough to make him a certain winner.

Edited to add...

Quickly checked and Cuthbert received 36 votes out of 37 in that St Mirren match.

You mean the game where I scandalously had my vote disallowed for admitting it was tactical, even though some appear to have done the same thing on this thread and it's gone unchallenged? Yes, I remember it well! :P
