Lawrie was much improved today, 3 way tie between Stanic, Lawrie and Ando. I will go for Lawrie, he deserves some praise for a change

Can you explain how he caused the goal?

My interpretation was that he picked up his man but the midfielder came through on teh overlap and as such it was not his fault it was the player who should have been tracking him back.

Everyone would be quick to give him a slaggin if he had been rank. I just think he put in a good performance today, so for that he deserves praise. You are entiled to your opinion but so am i, and i dont think i derserve that from you for saying my opinion

As for the goal i didnt see him at fault at all.

It was a toss up for me between Ando & Lawrie and have decided to go for Lawrie as he has come through a very rough patch and was not at fault for the goal.

I thought it was his best game (maybe not the first twenty though?!?!), but still think he was at fault at the goal... but Jason Scotland missed a sitter at Partick, yet got many votes for MOM... one swallow doesn't make a summer!

I wouldn't give Lawrie MoM simply because there were two better players than him on the pitch. Allan McManus and Steven Anderson. McManus edges it for me.
