View Full Version : PSJ v Sparta Jag Saturday 4th November 2006

PSJ will play Sparta Jag in the first round of the IFA Scottish Cup this coming Saturday. We will not be playing Arab FC on Sunday 5th November.

Kick off is 10.30am at the Cage. Folk should meet no later than 9.45am at the changing rooms. Kev will as usual sort Perth cats and there will be food in the pub afterwards.

The game will be refereed by Kenny Laird.

Difficult game ahead but one we can win. Those available please confirm asap. Cheers.

Got your message Kev. I've had a relapse of whatever tropical thing I brought back from Ecuador but I managed to wheeze through an hour of 5's tonight so put me in the squad.

Can Kenny (the ref) meet you lot at 9.45am and get a lift out to Almondbank please? Don't think he will need a lift back as I believe he may be being picked up en route to a junior match in the afternoon.

Try and be sharp, Perth folk meet at Morrisons at 9.20. Others try to be there for 9.35... photos to take etc.

Cheers to everyone that played on Saturday. Thought we kept our discipline very well in the face of extreme provocation at times and that was very pleasing. With a bit of belief we might have won the game but whilst it wasn't to be we can only be happy with the effort put in. Sparta are a good side and would say we matched them over the 90 mins.

Thanks to Kenny Laird for reffing - not everyones cup of tea it would seem but we needed to get someone in to do it so that is appreciated.

Final score was 2-1 to Sparta with PSJ goal from a G penalty. Nuggets won both PSJ and oppostion MOM.

Next up is this Saturday against Raith. See seperate thread for details.
