The ticket application page will be available from midday.
If we all apply, if we all apply then there could be a wee chance of getting a couple of tics between us, you never know.

I got these tickets in the first ticket phase. Had no idea which teams i'd get until friday.

Brazil Vs Croatia - Berlin 13/06/06
Spain Vs Ukraine - Leipzig 14/06/06
Sweden Vs Paraguay - Berlin 15/06/06
Ukraine Vs Tunisia - Berlin 23/06/06

Will probably go for the first 3, but will wait til the end of the 3rd ticket phase to see if i get any more matches before i book flights / hotel.

Here's the match schedule:

To make things clear the 3rd ticket phase which starts today is a ballot and you have til 15th Jan to apply.
I'll be applying for any available tickets in groups B and F.

Just been trying to order some tickets and you have to have a Mastercard or pay by bank transfer.

How is that fair on those of us who have Visa?

It seems that you can only apply for 7 matches, so for me with 4 already it would only let me apply for 3 matches.

Also it's one application per household and they remove duplicates from the ballot (don't know how likely this is).

i paid for my tickets with bank transfer (as i have a VISA too  ), you don't have to give any details up-front and the transfer is free, all it takes is a phonecall to your bank.

Radford it would be a good idea to get all your friends and relatives to apply for T&T tickets too even if they have no intention of going as no payment detail need to be given up-front if you just select "bank transfer".
May aswell make the odds in your favour (like buying a whole book of raffle tickets instead of just one)

I don't think the fact that the tickets have the applicants names on them will be a problem, it wasn't at any of the matches i went to at euro 2004 or for that matter any other sporting event, ever.

Also i'd advise to book hotel room as soon as you know which matches youre going to as (in Berlin at least) they are all at LEAST double their normal price and will be sold out before June.
3* Hotels are over 100quid instead of around 50quid a night, the 5* hotels are all 450quid a night during June :!:
www.bookings.net are good for german hotels and they all have customer reviews.

Flight prices are reasonable, Glasgow to Berlin return special price from Air Berlin of 127quid including tax.

Booked flights just before the draw with Air Berlin Gla - Dusseldorf, 65 quid return. Prices have now doubled, i'm a happy bunny obviously :***: Also got my hotel booked think it worked out at 45 quid a night between us, so a none to expensive world cup trip on the cards, come on tix for the T & T - Sweden game.
