Can we make it that we meet at teh changing rooms earlier so that I can actually get these photos and that other people take a bit of responsibility for getting eveything ready as I never get time... All players to be there by 9.30am, I know it's a drag, but tough!!!
I'd also appreciate it, if all Perth folk could meet at Morrisons at the requested leaving time, as we have been caught out for transport a couple of times lately, yet others have gone through with just a couple in their car.
This week meet at Morrisons at 9.10am.
Cheers.

Just wanted to say thanks to every1 that helped on Sat and to Kev for coming up the hospital 8)
Good to hear you are doing ok.

Lucky for some, i could have done with a pint, still could :( :***:
As has been alluded to Saturday's game was abandoned just before half time due to an injury suffered by Dunbar which meant he had to be taken to hospital. Thankfully he is doing ok and hopes to be back playing in a month or so. Thanks to all those that helped out with this on Saturday, much appreciated and good to see us rally round as a team.
Cheers also to the Raith boys who were very decent about things and had no complaints about the game being abandoned. Much more like the kind of team that should be playing in the IFA.
Thanks also to Ewan for reffing and also providing a large jacket to keep Dunbar warm!!
For the record the game was 2-2 when it was abandoned with goals from Captain and Al. PSJ MOM was Elvis and Oppostion MOM was Dunbar.
Again we went two goals up only to for some reason panic incessantly and throw it away. This is deeply frustrating and there really is no reason for it. We should be making it as difficult as possible for teams to score rather than inviting them in at any given opportunity.
Next up we are away to Airdrie on Saturday - details on a seperate thread. Cheers.

Am going to send an email to the IFA list saying cheers to the Raith boys - they were a good bunch and everyone should know that.
We will hopefully get another game against them some time next year.
Good to hear you are ok Dunbar
Best wishes passed on from Tranmere below;
Alright mate,
Just reading through the weekends IFA results and noticed about your lads injury at the weekend. Please pass on best wishes from the lads down here at Tranmere - hope he makes a speedy recovery, not good to hear of any injury, especially in a league like the IFA.
Regards
Rich

Hey Al,
Sorry to hear about yer lad fracturing his skull - nasty!
You reckon that Ewan Dow is a curse upon players in Perth?
Anyway, ah thought I'd take the opportunit to fix up a game in Dundee early next year.......
Do Sun 4th Feb or Sun 11th Mar suit you at all?
Best Wishes to yer lad,
Homer.

From Raith boys -
Thanks for letting us know kev pity too lads were enjoying the game but
really really glad the lad is ok -well as ok as you can be with fractured skull anyway. Any chance you could send lads home address to us as we are keen to send a card to the lad if you could im sure the lad involved in the incident would appreciate it he was really cut up about it on Saturday so think he would like to say sorry in that way -a card etc from our team . Will try and arrange anither game after new year and hope the lad can play some part in it if his doctor allows him cheers anyway and if you could pass on address that would be really good. Finally thanks for the good message regarding our layer on the IFA website
much appreciated by us all .
Cheers Kev, Geordie Munrovers

Can you get in touch with them and get them to let the lad know that theres no hard feelins or anything, purely accidental and nothing could be done about it so he shouldn't feel bad or that. :)

I'll let them know Dunbar, and no worries about Saturday... It got me out of shopping!
From Livvy team;
Speaking to my team manager at work who plays for Geordie informed me of a serious injury during their game which caused its abandonment.
One of the PSJ players was accidently caught in the head and lay out cold on the deck for nearly 20 minutes. According to my team manager, the boy was initially feared dead as he wasnt moving, causing the Raith player who caught him to go into shock.
Boy was taken to the hospital and has a fractured skull, but is sitting up and recovering well apparantly.
Puts things into perspective.
Don't know if any of the PSJ lads read our boards, but thought we could pass our best wishes on to him .
