Don't quote me on this but I think it's 25 and obviously a clean license.
Aye, and you will also need to check out whether you need special insurance for going to Germany and any extra driving tests......

Insurance will be fine - hire company will levy a wee extra charge for that (I did that going to Slovenia from an Austrian hire company). Depending on the company, a lot are now happy to hire out to 21 or 23 year olds with a small extra charge.

I managed to get one earlier in the year from Sixt rent-a-car when I was still 24. I don't think there was any extra insurance for taking it abroad or anything. clicky! (http://www.e-sixt.com)

Are any of the forum members going this year?
A lot of Tour operators still have a lot of holiday and ticket packages available but unfortunately its not so accessible this time from the UK.

No, but definitely going to head over to Euro 2012. Polish beer is quality and the birds are even better!
Might have a chance of actually qualifying too.....
