View Full Version : PSJ XMAS NIGHT OUT!!
Due to numerous logistical difficulties it is not possible to have the PSJ Xmas night out before Xmas - don't think it has ever been held in the Xmas period though so no difference there!!
It will however take place on Saturday 27th January 2007 - get it in your diaries!!
Plan at the moment is to start out early in Almondbank with a few pints, onto McDiarmid to watch Saints crush Gretna and then out in Perth at night.
On the Sunday we have a game arranged against the Queens Park boys in Almondbank which should round it off nicely.
Those that are interested should indicate asap so that can work on accommodation etc. Plenty of notice for this one so no excuses!!
Anyone with any ideas/questions/suggestions feel free to post!!

Looks like I cannae make this! Bad time of year at work and had an argument the day wi ma boss about time off. Will have a few more and see what happens....Semi-final has to take priority though

I'll need somewhere to stay if I'm going to make it. Still a major doubt though as my school gets inspected the following week and will likely have a ton of work to do. Will let you know as soon as I can.
I'm not going to be able to make it now, going to France and dont get back until the Saturday lunchtime.

Kev will confirm details of this later in the week but rough plan is few pints in Almondbank, watch Saints win the Championship decider ( :roll: ) then oot in Perth somewhere or other. Think Man United v Porstmouth is on just after five on Saturday so could watch that somewhere possibly.
Those that have expressed an interest in this so far are;
G, Al, Capt, Burn, Nips, Bee J, Elvis, Juan, Rocket, Dunbar, Jimmy, Wonka, Stevie Carr, Wee Lee.
Unavailable (boo) - Spew, Jinky, Pink, Rodge, Nuggets.
Others please confirm asap so Kev can sort accomodation etc if needs be. Cheers.

Plan as just announced by Captain is as follows!!
Saturday;
Meet on #14 bus which leaves town at 1130 (from outside Poondies) and travels right up the Crieff RoadÂ… go to Almondbank Inn for beers and a spot of lunch (let me know whoÂ’s coming for numbers for grub). All players should try really hard to get out here as the pub has been superb to us!!!
Those going to the game get the bus back into Perth at 1357.
Watch Saints give Gretna a footballing lesson (ahem).
Folk can then go home and freshen up before meeting in Ormonds Bar from 1830. We will then go on a tour of the town (leaving possibly by 1930) via various pubs before those left standing, heading on to the Ice Factory.
Accommodation wise I am expecting Woody, Al & G, anyone else?
Sunday;
Perth cats ready to leave Crieff Road Tescos (note new meeting point!!!) at 1205, meeting at Almondbank at 1215 Sharp. Kick Off is at 1300, but we have to be organised for a quick change after the pub team! Names and meeting point on a separate thread. And then back to the pub, preferably staying a while as our opposition will be staying to drink for a bit!

I just replied to the email saying i would be there from the morning but wont actually get into perth till about 1ish, will have the car till saints game is played to its ultimate conclusion so could shaperone people if need be (don't take the slugworth though! :() kworscheish!

actually i take that back, i can do the morning shift, one of the oompah loompahs was having me on about something at work so i shall be at the almondbank inn without a sandy (car) on me , sorry if i got your hopes up.
the nights will be Wilder as long as its not out of my Depp!
