At last we have a few options again!

Kevin James made a big difference to the defence again but Jason's main job is to score goals and he delivered today.

Gary Twigg for me. How was the keeper? That was a big game for him in the circumstances.

He wasn't punished this week and wasn't at fault for the goal. Few minor things but all part of building his confidence again.

Thought Bryn Halliwell did ok today.

Dropped the ball after a Dundee shot in the first half but the pace on that shot was unreal. I didn't think he could have held it but others around me thought he should have. Not sure if their judgement was just clouded because it was Halliwell though.

Probably more than likely that that was the case. Pleased to see him punch a cross in the first half as well, instead of trying to catch it. Kicking was better in general. Made another error in the second half that we could have been punished for but luck seemed to be on our side today.

Man of the match for me would probably be Scotland.

If that was Cuthbert he would have been slaughtered for being lobbed yet again (how many times is it now?) - his feeble attempt at a punch was embarrassing and a better team would have punished his flaps at balls hits directly at him which he lets bounce off him.

Man of the match for me was McManus for covering all the gaps left by somebody missing tackles galore

While Halliwell had no chance of catching that shot in the first half, I still think he should have tried to parry it away from danger. Don't think the sarcastic cheering whenever he caught the ball would have done his confidence any good either.

Willie McLaren for me.....aye right then! He was absolute murder!

Scotland gets it for two cool finishes.

James - captain's performance and gave us some leadership at the back for the first time in ages.

James for me. His last ditch tackle on Swankie who was almost defenitly going to score was unreal. He started about 5 yeards off him and got the tackle in, in a matter of seconds.

Scotland followed, big improvement. Had a blinder in the first half, taking the piss out for Mann and Strong, and seemed to try a little bit more.

As for Halliwell, nearly cost us the game on a few occasions on my oppinion. He was far to off his line for their goal, hence him being lobbed, and spilled to shots which both landed to Dundee players inseide the 6 yard box, but thankfully for us, Lyle is shite, and James cleard the other just before they scored.

Don't think anybody stood out. Scotland took his goals well. Lawrie got left on his own again but made some timely tackles. Giving it to Martin Hardy though for that sublime pass for the first goal. Superb weighted ball through the defence into space for Jason to run onto! Magic

Kevin James - great to see him back and I thought he played a blinder apart from the complete screw up when we lost the goal - probably not entirely his fault as Halliwell was involved and it's easier to blame him... Seriously, his leaderhip qualities on the pitch are what we have been screaming for over the last few games, they were there in abudance from Captain Kev today, and he won the game for us today with a fantastic last ditch goal saving tackle in the 2nd half. Feel sorry for Ando, but things have been falling apart at the back recently. Welcome back Kevin James - one obligatory major screw up per game, but his influence is immense for us.

I don't think Halliwell did anything wrong at the goal. McManus and James were the ones making the errors from where I was sitting. Halliwell seemed to come out expecting the ball from one of them, only to be left facing a Dundee player who saw the opportunity for the lob and took it. The blame lies anywhere but with Halliwell for that one, I'm afraid.

I think we'd perform better 3-5-2, which would allow us to keep all three fantastic centre-backs in the side and also allow Stanic to return to his more preferred position alongside Paul Sheerin who played far too central and deep today after McLarens introduction.

Not sure who to give it to today. Its either James for his influence & defending or Jason for his goals. I`ll give it to James.

How can anyone vote Halliwell as MoM. He is a liability & we were fortunate that Dundee`s finishing was crap. If Cuthbert was to lose that goal today then everybody would have said he has been lobbed again.

The worst player as flagged in the match result thread every week always gets a vote on the Man of the Match thread.

Got to be Scotland. 2 great goals and pretty damn good performance. Got to give James a wee mention too, he looked as if he had never been away, and was pretty unlucky not to sneak a wee goal. :D :D

Except for the gap he left for the goal himself!

McManus was at fault for the goal he had the ball at his feet. Halliwell placed himself for the passback but McManus lost it and that is why he was so far out of his goal. How anyone can blame him for that I dont know!

James Man of Match for me for holding us together in the second half.

Yesterday showed how much we will miss Sheridan. Were so much better with him.

James was excellent yesterday. Good to see him giving players instructions and organising the defence. Made a big difference.

James for me, made a huge difference, showed why he's captain.

Jason and Peaso i both thought plyaed well in the first half, linked up well, second half, they eased of, much like the rest of the team.

Halliwell was still dodgy though, perhaps not so much for the goal, although he did managed to get chipped from pretty close in, but the shot in the first half i thought he could of at leat tried to put round the post, and the spill in the second half was just a stupid mistake on his part.

A wins a win though, if we keep it up, and some results go our way, we could be right back in it by the new year.

I think it has to be Scotland. Without him we wouldn't have won the game and that was the most important thing yesterday. The return of James was a major boost and helped us a lot but it has to be Jason

I went for Lawrie. Didn't put a foot wrong despite having 2 players up against him the whole game. And what a tackle that was to prevent a second when Halliwell was up to his old tricks.

Jason's goals were class too, as was the wee man's contribution.
