From the BBC website,

Adam extends St Mirren loan deal

Charlie Adam has been a success at St Mirren
Rangers youngster Charlie Adam is to remain at Division One leaders St Mirren for the remainder of the season.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who has scored twice for the Paisley side, has signed an extension to his loan deal.

"With our squad not being that big he is a vital member and hopefully he can play his part," Saints boss Gus MacPherson told the club website.

MacPherson also confirmed that the club are interested in Stranraer goalkeeper Barry John Corr.

Have the rules changed? Surely this is the same situation that we had with McGregor last season?

Depends on the players age. I think players 21 and under can have 2 loan spells with the same club in the one season, otherwise it is just the 1 spell.

Why we have to put up with this I do not know - the leagues below the Premiership down south have adopted a much more flexible attitude so why can't the duffers at the SFA wake up as well.
