Most definitely not to be confused with Partick Thistle at home!

Kevin Cuthbert. Pass marks to Goran Stanic, Derek Lilley and Steven Milne.
Derek McInnes is rubbish.

Cat for me. Stanic and Mensing were ok and Lilley did well while Savo looks back to his best.
McInnes makes Rudi Vata look like an inspired signing.

Morais was the only player in my opinion who played well tonight. Cuthbert made a number of good saves but was glued to his line for both goals.
Mensing needs to play in midfield instead of McInness and Lawrie restored to full back. Kevin James was badly missed, I think both goals would have been avoided if he was playing.
OC should have taken Anderson off and reverted to a back 3 and left McDonald to play up front with Lilley and Milne.
Roll on next season.

Savo Milne - what a star. Only played for part of the 2nd half, but showed the rest the sort of attitude they SHOULD have approached this game with.
Cat had a few good saves, but his kicking was woeful again.
Get McInnes to f***. That should never pull on a Saints shirt again.

He never had one bad kick tonight - his performance was outstanding and made a number of top saves (one of which was actually world class). Saved us from a thumping and deserves the MOM.

Does that include the many clearances that were going right down the middle of the park, landing not within 20 yards of a Saints player, leaving Cuthbert on several occasions standing shrugging his shoulders as if to say "where were you then?"? He should at least try and aim for a blue shirt, no?

Given the total lack of movement from most of the blue shirts or what they did when they got the ball, kicking it into empty space was probably the safer bet :***:

Problem is, we only had one guy in the team who can head a ball. McInnes, Morais, Sheerin, Scotland and even Peaso today were a waste of time. He had to hit Hardie everytime - its not easy to do. If even half of those players could head a ball (at least run and jump) his kicks would look ok. Its our distinct lack of heading ability that highlights his kicking because he had to aim for the same bit of the park everytime. No other team seems to have this problem.

Some of Cat's kicking was poor but the pitch was very greasy. Even taking that into account he was superb and get's my MoM award. I think he had more saves to make tonight than in the rest of the season. Brilliant display from him.
Credit also to Ando before the sending off, Goran, Morais and Savo and Lilley, who had his best performance for us.

That's a fair point Broon, and was very noticeable tonight as you say. However, as with so many other aspects of our play, the frustration is that we have all seen what these players ARE capable of when they're on a game...

i also felt bad for booing at the end when the peanut made an attempt to clap for the fans but soon lost that feeling when i realised how gash we were.

I don't think Sheerin was clapping the fans - just waiving to someone in the Saints support.

Peanut was waving.
I didn't applud them off the park, or boo them incidentally - it achieves nothing.
Only person deserving a mention in this thread is Morais. The rest should not be happy with themselves that's for sure.
