Well this coming Saturday could in many peoples eyes be the end of our season if like a few are predicting Gretna come to McD and beat us.
My opinion is that we will not get beat, but may well draw, forcing a long mid week trip down to nearly Englandshire.
League wise, there is only one pivotol game left to maybe's turn things round and it depends on us winning every game between now and the St Mirren at home game on 11 Feb, a tough call giving the way we are playing currently and our injury/suspension list. But being forever the optimist if we do win the 3 league games, clyde away, stranraer away and brechin at home, then go on to beat the Midden it could leave us still in with a shout, we cannot give up quite yet, stranger things have happened with teams in apparent unassailable leads crashing and burning in a massive arse collapsing style.

Having a friend who is a Saints fan but lives in Carlisle he has been to a number of Gretna matches and we are facing big trouble. They play football on the deck with pace and support. In Deuchar, they have a pacey striker who knows where the target is, Bingham organises and pushes the plays, Tosh can hurt and in a lad called Main, they have the best Scottish uncapped goalkeeper.
I will be there, I only hope the Saints players are there as well and not there recent form or else

I can see it being a complete gubbing.
But i am not going to be pessimistic. We HAVE to win to get the fans onside, to gain a bit more revenue for the club on a cup run, get the players confidence back up.
If we are to win, the players need to raise their game a hell of a lot.

My girlfriends uncle is a Dumbarton season ticket holder and he said they were nothing special when they played the sons about 3 weeks ago. Only managed to beat Dumbarton 1 - 0. He said Dumbarton more than matched them in every department. I think we should be ok, and i hope we show them that they arnt gonna walk this league next year. (well they wont aslong as they dont spend 5 million in the summer)

I can't believe there are people quick to write off Saints promotion chances at this stage or actually some did a few weeks back  No wonder we have so many people, who call themselves "fans" boo the team at most home games. How little faith some have in their own team
The season doesn't finish until it's mathematically impossible for us to win the league. Admittedly we're not in the greatest position but I seem to remember us being in an identical situation behind Kilmarnock at this stage a few years ago prior to us catching them and passing them to go on and claim 3rd place in the SPL. Gretna have good quality players playing against poorer quality teams in the Second Division but their progress will be tested on Saturday. I think it'll be a tough game but am confident Saints will do the business.
Keep The Faith boys and girls :P

St. Mirren are the best team in the league Fair play to them you can't say they don't deserve it
