PSJ Awards/Captain Kev's Stag Do - Sat 2nd June 2007

Believe it or not but esteemed PSJ Captain Kevin Heller is getting married in the near future. The stag do is scheduled to take place on 2nd June with football in Almondbank to kick the day off.

The annual PSJ awards will also be built into this day with the ceremony taking place at Badgers in the afternoon. Everyone from PSJ should attend this event; not least as G has promised "mega entertainment" for the ceremony.........

As usual Kev will be producing a fanzine for the event. This gets harder and harder to write every year so any suggestions/contributions are very welcome and should be given to Kev or myself asap. These can be on any subject - I really don't want to write yet another google article this year :shock:

Also very important are the awards themselves. There will be obvious awards for player of the year etc but the comedy awards are what make the day so any suggestions for these are to be welcomed. Jinky is looking to win the student dosser of the year award for the 37th year in succession so some new suggestions would be appreicated.

Can folk indicate if they will be available on this day on this thread and if you have any fanzine contributions/awards suggestions either PM or email Kev or I them. Cheers.

Captain Kev has asked me to post a slight change of plan to this event.....

There will still be a kickabout at Almondbank to kick off proceedings, then there will be food in badgers and the presentation of this seasons awards complete with G's promised "comedy".

There will then be a bus to Glasgow to the Jongleurs comedy club. Beer, food and beer will be partaken together with comedy at the club. When the comedy has finished it turns into a club until 3am so can dance the night away or whatever floats your boat. The bus then presumably takes the Perth cats back to Perth!!

Capt says a letter is on the way detailing proposed events but that gives you a brief outline of the day. Sounds good and not to be missed.

The cost will be £30 for the whole day, this incorporates football, bus, food, comedy and access to the club. Kev would appreciate this money asap as he needs to put a deposit down at the club, if you could get it to him this Sunday at Queens that would be ideal.

Still not had any suggestions for awards/fanzine so get the fingers oot!!

Not a PSJ game - George says in his letter that there will be a wee game of football down at the pitches for those that are interested. Just be mixed teams between those that fancy it.

Nope, there was a problem with Jongleurs in Glasgow so George had to look elsewhere and only place at relatively short notice was in Dundee. Everything else with regards to the day remains the same though.

To echo others thoughts a quality day/night out, awards were very good this year and even raised the odd laugh!! We should be looking to combine awards with a stag do every year - any takers for next year? Woody?
