With a free Saturday next month, perhaps we could organise a bounce game?

Otherwise we'll be sitting in the hoose listening to the radio to the other teams triumph in the Cup...

Couldn't agree more 1884 - except I would throw in a full training session in the morning and another in the evening after the game to give some of them the wake-up call they need.

They are supposed to be fit professionals, so lets see how they react to having to put in a full days shift like the majority of us do week in week out.

I like the idea but I don't think the players do. After all, yesterday they played to get a day off

a real wake up call
bring back Sturrocks 9-5 training, cos a couple of hours a day is not enough  maybe certain bookies would loose out :***:

no friendly please. really couldnt be arsed going to see it after yesterday to be honest. like BEAR says, get the 9-5 shift back on and get these overpaid, underworked, underperforming twats back in the real world and make them earn their wages.

Got to agree with you there bear. Why should someone who earns vast sus of money only work maybe 20 to 30 hours a week then ask Joe Public to fork out their hard earned cash to watch utter crap.

GB should have kept the 9 to 5 even after luggy left. That's what probably got us into Europe.

How many of us would be prepared to watch that crap for another week and remember we would all have to pay for the priveledge. Rather spend another tenner in the 208 :***:

Now that's an idea John. 8)

Oweny could take the team with all our new signings away for a long weekend of team bonding and we get a match against somebody different and get pashed somewhere else. :***: :***: :***: :***:

Call me an old cynic, but for domestic and other reasons, I'm quite looking forward to a weekend off!

i dont want to be seen as the person who defends saints the whole time, but a friedly wouldnt really achieve anything, a week end off may be more useful and have a break from it all. they should have had plenty of practice by feb anyway
