I was speaking to my new manager for North Muirton 19's and he asked me if there was any change we could get a friendly set up against the mighty PSJ (ok he never said mighty but its true). What do you think?

Shouldn't be a problem. When do they normally play? Obviously a Saturday morning would be most suitable. You had better be playing for us as well!

A Saturday during the season would be better DB if possible - most of the PSJ squad is recuperating after a hectic season just now :D

We wouldn't be able to during the season as we play on Sunday's during the season so trying to get it sorted for a pre-season game. I could try and put it off a week or 2

Last time we played an U19 team was the Vale of Leven boys at Leeds and they cheated by being fitter, quicker, better and more sober. Do we really want to go through that again? It's not in the spirit of football!

As it stands we have no game on Saturday - have asked Arab FC if they want one in Dundee as Saints are playing Brechin in a friendly. Probably unlikely though so first game of season will be 11th August, home to Athletic Bilbino.

Will keep everyone posted though.
