View Full Version : Exclusive PSJ News!
As your club Treasurer I am delighted to announce that PSJ have secured the services of Goran Stanic's away shirt for the forthcoming season!
As well as having the good name of PSJ advertised in the programme alongside Goran's at every home game, we will be the proud owner of his signed away shirt at the end of the season. The PSJ Committee have decided that this will be raffled off and given to a PSJ player, however, there is a catch.........
Over the course of the season each player who turns out for PSJ will get one entry into the raffle for each appearance they make. Therefore, the more times you turn up and play, the more chance you have of being the proud owner of this shirt. (N.B This does not include all-day tournaments where you may make 8-10 appearances though!).
There are a number of other perks we get being involved in this deal including signed photos etc but most importantly we are giving money to Saints so hopefully this might cover Willie Dyer's wages for one week.
The Committee decision is final (as always!).
Good luck!
Rumours that Goran will be making a guest appearance for PSJ have been strenuously denied by PSJ. A source close to the club has this to say;
"We already have one ageing left back that charges forward and then meanders back, there is no room for another one. We also have a left back that slices the ball at every opportunity so maybe Goran can teach him how not to do that"
I think Goran should attend one Saturday morning to spend time with all our left footed players. He can show Pink what a tackle looks like as well as training our left-backs. :D
He has got decent "indie" hair as well - could have a quiet word with Jinky perhaps.

And seeing as he knows he's a defender and not a midfielder, maybe he could have a few words with G! ;-)

Bj rightly pointed out last season, that since having joined the navy and been trained by none other than Steven Segal, Pink does now make tackles!
Glad to see you are all over the moon about this news. Such a burst of interest since this story was posted :roll:

No funds "left over" these days. We have our own bank account which is continuously topped up with fundraising events such as the Sportsmans Dinner and any excess we all pay throughout the season. It accumulates a lot faster than you would think and this is a quality way of spending it whilst spreading the good PSJ name.

That could still happen Davey, but in a strange twist, the club have been really good to us of late and this is a good way of fostering these relationships...
I think this marks a big step up in professionalism of the club, and gets the word out that we are good for the club... just need to get the website up to date now...

No. Can't afford the sizes you and Burn would need :***:

Thats not strictly true, I made a tackle once and really hurt my knee, so dont think I'll try that again. Steven Segal is just the chef! What would he know?

Aye true, but surely we'd save money cause you'd only need a childs size!!
