This one will be a 10am kick off at the Stonefield (G72 0JZ) in Blantyre. Will get the directions shortly but think we have possibly played there before - G can maybe clarify this with his local knowledge!!

Wonka will be in charge of Perth cats in the absence of Capt Kev - should probably meet at 8am at Crieff Road Tesco to give plenty of time to get organised.

The Stonefield pitches are situated close to Blantyre Leisure Centre are just minutes away from the town centre and the East Kilbride expressway. The two grass 11 a side parks are of a good standard and are well maintained. The Stonefield is now the official home of Fir Park Corner on home match days.

The pavilion boasts a number of large individual changing rooms with shared showers and toilets.

Exit M74 at the Raith Interchange, junction 5. Then take the A725 for East Kilbride. Take second exit after Hamilton Technology Park, signposted for A724 Cambuslang and Rutherglen opposite Shields Toyota garage. Take right at junction following signs for A724. Take third exit from roundabout following sings for Cambuslang/Rutherglen then go straight through next roundabout. Take a right into John Street at the next roundabout, Asda on left. As Kev says probably be better if ready to leave Tesco at 8am so an early start. Wonka will be in charge of co-ordinating this so any problems give him a shout. He seems to think there will be enough cars - 10 folk going from Perth going by above list.

Beej, Elvis, Daly and Rocket all have cars I think. Think Elvis is in Italy just now though, not sure when he is back.

This one finished in a three two defeat with PSJ goals from Rodge and Wonka. Wonka was PSJ MOM, Geezer Opposition MOM.

Thought we played very well and in my mind deserved to win let alone get beat. At 2-1 up we were comfortable and should really have gone further ahead to kill the game. The wind was playing havoc and we ended up losing a couple.

Frustrating but plenty of positives to take into next game - away to Arab FC on Sunday 9th September. See seperate thread for details.

Stats etc will be updated when get a chance - this internet cafe is no cheap so it won´t be till tomorrow at least!!!
