I have just finished my first season with St.Johnstone and i got them into the SPL first time 8) and got to the scottish cup semi final and got beat from Celtic 2-0 and got to the challage cup final but got beat on penaltys from Clyde :cry:

Does anyone else have football manager and go saints on it?

I got Saints to the Premier in the first season, but all the players turned rubbish over summer when there no training.

this game rules my life.

The first season is easy and with milne and dobbie up front with jason in attacking midfield the goals flood in but the second season is a real test.

If you need extra fire power good players to loan are the icelandic stricker thats at celtic think its finbagossin or something like that. Kenny Duchar is also really good.

There is also a Rangers under 19 player who plays on the left hand side of midfield who is amazing i cant remember his name but i am sure he is french!!

its just annoying that you dont have enough to buy these players when they are cheap!!

in my 4th season in the premier now i think and just got a

First game into the spl, beat Inverness 4-1 :D but then play Rangers and get beat 8-1 :(

Won promotion by 5 points and now getting stuffed week in week out in the SPL unfortunately. Manged to keep Owen on as my asst manager

Savo is good in 1st div as is Peaso (but he got injured - surprise!!)

Signed on pre-contracts: one Turkish guy called Volkan who is good and some dutch defender Hooiveld or something, who is also good.

Also trying to keep the mighty West Ham from being relegated too.

What are your tactics and how are you doin in the spl with your 28 point team :wink:

Am now 7th in the spl after about 5 games :wink:

Tactics are very straight forward 4-4-2 (although am going to change to 3-1-4-2 for the SPL), with attacking wingers, attacking mentality, quick tempo and mixed passing (slightly more direct than mixed). One thing I always do is tick the Counter Attack box as I have scored so many goals with this during the season.

Haven't started my SPL season, got a couple of friendlies to integrate my new signings into the team.
