View Full Version : kevin james
having spoken to yet another saints fanatic, we are of the agreement kevin james is a donkey. Why does being six ft seven get you in the team?? height is no substitute for skill
DONKEY. END OF!

Not that i am calling him a donkey, because i believe we should back every player that pulls on a saints top, but i will say this. James doesnt exactly get his head on everything. He does clear most balls into our box but i dont understand how he cant do the same when we are attacking.......I know he did it yesterday and earlier on in the season but i would of expected him to of done it more often considering he can outjump anybody in the league.

Superb quote from james in the papers today
"Ihaven't given up on the title. i wouldn't admit defeat if we were 12 points behind with three games to go."
he must have had a long hard match :0)

I must admit he looks very awkward with the ball at his feet - he is not a naturally gifted footballer. He is there to defend, particulary high balls, and cause problems for the opposition defence at corners and free kicks and he does that very well.
I would certainly have him the the team and let others play the silky football.

It's a completely different matter to win a defensive header (your aim is just to move it away) and an attacking header where you are trying to guide and perhaps change the speed of it. But to be fair, he's unhappy with his attacking this season too.
