I assume so when Celtic are listed as a club in his career history?

Was John Spencer not with Celtic as a youngster as well?

Radford Socerbase says he went from Fairmuir to United he was only 16 when he signed for them.

I don't think so. He was hailed as the next best thing to emerge at Rangers and had a spell on loan to Morton but was recalled early as Morton were drawn against Rangers in the Cup and the Huns wouldn't let him play against them. I remember seeing him play for Morton against Saints at Muirton and thought he was a right dirty wee git back then

Yeah, I noticed that. I was going on this:

Bollan's one is the top one but unfortunately his name, town of birth (Dundee) and date of birth (24/03/73) are at the bottom of the previous column. That's from the Scottish Football Review 1998/99.

Got to be a mistake he would only be 15.

IIRC Rangers never recalled him for this reason. What they did was say that he couldn't play against them in a semi final, however we felt that this was unfair on Morton and decided to knock them out of the cup at the quarter final stage before playing Rangers in the semi final :***: :***:

[quote:5558d2aa57]Wolves striker Kenny Miller has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Celtic in the summer.
The 26-year-old former Rangers player has been given a three-year contract, with Celtic having the option of a further year.

Miller, who has scored four goals for Scotland this season, said: "I was fortunate enough to have options.

"But when Celtic made their interest known, this was where I wanted to play. It's a tremendous honour."

Miller, who has also played for Hibernian, had rejected a new contract at Molineux.

Rangers had been linked with bringing the player back to Ibrox and there was also interest from Italian clubs.

It had been thought Miller wanted a move to the English Premiership, but it's now clear that he is eagerly looking forward to joining up with manager Gordon Strachan.

But Miller said: "Having spoken to Gordon and the club, I am delighted to have committed my future to Celtic.

"I am looking forward immensely to joining my new team-mates in the summer and hope to be able to play my part in bringing further success to Celtic.

"Clearly, my focus for the rest of this season is Wolves and I will be doing all I can to assist the club in its efforts to secure promotion from the Championship."

Miller will become one of the few post-war players to have performed for both sides of the Old Firm.

Alfie Conn played for Rangers then Celtic, via Tottenham Hotspur, in the 1970s.

Fellow forward Mo Johnston, more controversially, joined Rangers in 1989 from Nantes after publicly saying that he was looking forward to a second spell with Celtic.

Miller spent four years in the green and white of Hibernian before moving to Ibrox for

Miller is yet another Scot, returning to a club, in a country where all they will win, is domestic trophies and fail in in Europe.

No ambition to play at the highest level and to really prove their quality.

To be fair though - it is a higher level than playing for the Dingles of Wolverhampton!!!

If you read the reports over the last few days, Miller wanted to go to the Premiership but as no offers were forthcoming suitable for him and Celtic come out on top and clinch the signing. Good move for all concerned I think.

Good for Scotland with 3 Scots strikers on the books at Celtic. Beattie, Maloney and now Miller.
