Weird one this. We were outstanding in the first half but they were all on a par. Brechin turned up in the second but against most of the players were above average. Will edge towards the Wizard though.

Kenny Deuchar for two good goals, although there were many possible candidates.

The amazing Davie Weatherston should probably pick this up with a goal and two great assists. Honourable mentions to Kevin Moon who did what "that other midfielder that's higher up the pecking order" should be doing all night, and also Gary Irvine, who is fast becoming a star for us - the two BALANCED attacking full backs put on a great show tonight.
However my vote goes to WILLIAM McLAREN. It's been a long time for him, but we saw tonight what he's actually capable of, and he was very unlucky not to score in the second half. Hopefully this is the start of great things to come from him - some of his touches were absolutely superb. Wicked trickery, lovely neat passing one-twos with Goran and he was looking for the ball all night. Well done Wullie, keep it up young man...

Mooner for me just ahead of Weatherston and Wullie.

Many played well tonight, but I like to see a striker scoring, and also winning almost everything in the air, so Deuchar for me.

Weatherston for me. Both he and McLaren were good tonight but Weatherston looked more dangerous with his direct runs at the Brechin defence and supplied 2 great crosses for the first two goals before scoring himself. Good performance as well from Moon

Mooner had a cracking game IMO.

This really is a tough one.
There were a number of players who shone in my opinion, Irvine had a good game his movement was good and he gets back at an alarming rate of knots when needs be.
Jury is still out on Jackson for me but I will concede that there has been marked improvement as the season has progressed.
Great game for Wullie Mc as well 100% effort which is good to see.
Deuchar - nuff said! (I get a sinking feeling every time I think about him going back to Grenta at the end of the loan surely they will realise their mistake and put him in the 1st team!?!?).
Going with Davie W though as I think he really gave an inkling as to what he was capable of last night, both down the wing and in the box. A roaming role seems to suit him well his pace is blinding and for a smaller guy he's not scared to mix it.
Mention for Daal as well who looked pretty tasty for the time he was on. His 1st play of the game was silky. I would like to see a game which featured Daal and Deuchar as I reckon they would be a strike force to be reckoned with.

Between Weatherston & Moon for me. If these two are not in the team on Saturday there is something far wrong.
Gave it to Mooner as he has not had the chance to shine in the first team yet.
