Sunday 18th November - proposed game @ Queens Park

Queens Park are celebrating their 20th anniversary on Sunday 18th November. Iain from Queens has asked us if we fancy playing a game against their current team on that day. This will then be followed by a Queens Park Old Boys team against an All Stars team.

Games will take place at Holyrood on the astro with our game pencilled in for a 10.15am kick off. Hospitality would then follow at the Social Club at Lesser Hampden.

Normally I would have had no problem going ahead and accepting this as think it is very nice to be asked to play in such an event; however Sunday 18th is day after Scotland Italy game at Hampden so not sure how easy it would be for us to get a squad for an early kick off on the Sunday. For those going to Scotland game it might obviously involve two trips to Glasgow in two days - unless you stayed in Glasgow of course.

Anyway can folk indicate here if they would be up for this asap so that I can let Iain know? Cheers.

I wouldn't be able to play. Meant to be working saturday and sunday that weekend! Might need to borrow Stone cold off you Bj so I can stick him behind the sound desk while i sneak out to hampden on the saturday

Looks like we would be able to muster some kind of squad for this one so it is game on. Fixtures thread will be updated to confirm this.
