I will be heading to Pisa with work for a week. Does anyone know which decent Italian teams play football near Pisa because I really fancy going to a game when I am over there. I have absolutely no knowledge of Italy whatsoever :?

Livorno (5th in Serie A) play just to the south and to the east you have Fiorentina (4th in Serie A), Empoli (16th in Serie A) and Siena (14th in Serie A).

Excellent - thanks for your help. Now need to dig out their fixture lists and see what games I can attend :)

Get onto the Italian football forum at channel 4 website and ask round for info, folk will give you pointers for tickets and stuff.

A group of us flew to Pisa last March before getting the train to Milan for the Scotland game. Thought it was a bit of a shit hole to be honest but at least you can say you've been to see the leaning tower :P

http://www.trenitalia.com/en/index.html was the site we used to book train tickets. Genoa is only a couple of hours on the train with decent scenery as you head up the coast.
