Gonna go for the 'keeper, for whom the match (and meeting with one individual in particular) meant so much.
His take of the cross near the end is exactly what you want and get from a top class 'keeper.

Craig for me - thought he got stuck in all day. Hardly any below-par performances though.

Rocco started poor today but every passing minute he grew and grew into the game and gave a solid all round performance

I went for Sheerin as i think we are better when he is playing...thought Savo's second goal was worthy of Goal of the Month.
Pity i couldnt vote for our fan that wore the Pink top...class.

Sheerin was a class apart in midfield.

Paul Sheerin ran it for us in midfield. When the header ping pong started and the ball came to him he put his foot on it and started the moves. Class.

Couldn't have put it better myself. Sheerin gets my vote. 5 viable candidates though.
Main was ****ing class though, Goran had a good game and for the first time i can remember we didn't have a 'Goran' moment, Craig was great again and Milne was the two goal hero. His finish for the second was awesome but as the knowledgable man above me said it was Sheerin who started the move by getting the ball down and passing it as he did all day to great effect. Then Goran's amazing ball into Jacko actually made the chance. Was it just me or did he actually look away as he played the ball? The man is sheer class.

Not just you! Only Goran would give someone the eyes on the halfway line before playing a long ball!

Savo for his 2 goals for me, you don't score a goal like his 2nd and not get MoM in my book, telling contribution. Craig impressed throughout again and solid performances from all really. Bring on the Scum!!

got to be the main man:)
but McBreen did well when he came on although he missed probably the best chance of the game:D
Stanic did a Ronaldinho- looked the other way when playing the ball.
Irvine was MoM, solid performance throughout the game, great tackling and supporting the midfield at every opportunity.

Everyone around me was screaming about the goal - I couldn't get over the pass which was nothing short of world class (outside of the boot whilst disguising it by looking the other way - genius). The fact that Jacko killed it and Milne volleyed it home just made it all that better.

Still amazed thatthe player never got booked after the goal (cannae mind who it was that halved the saints player in the build up to the goal).
