We've signed him on loan untill the end of the season. What like a player is he?
Cheers

Shocked by this one! He's only just come back from Cowdenbeath but I suppose this coincides with Sam Morrows signing. Can't be bad for Jackson to get regular games every week though Dobbie could probably benefit more from being loaned out. :***:

Striker - did well at Cowdenbeath, so will be interesting to see how he does up a level from there. He is quite quick, very much like Savo I would say (definitely a good thing for yous Kev) and should do OK. Beneficial for both Forfar and us I would think.

Comparing Jackson with Doris,Doris looks the better prospect.
They look similar type players but Jackson to me,granted on limited evidence, looked a more exciting prospect

is it just me or is that a contradiction? or is it a typing error?

Jackson is a very good player for his age... though he still has to beat the Saints curse of getting past a few first team appearances. I have spoken to him and he really seems to have his feet on the ground, so hopefully this attitude, along with his undoubted ability should see him progress and help you out short-term before coming back to light up the SPL and sadly the Republic Of Ireland.

Good to see he got a full game. How are you guys getting on this season? Darren Gribbon plays for you guys does he not, i remember the peach he scored against us for cowden at the start of the season, has he been a good signing?

We are in the Mire at the moment make no mistake - Big pots of shit!
Gribbs has unquestionable talent - doesn't always show it week in week out however :(

With Saints not playing yesterday I went along to Starks Park. Forfar looked good in the first half, and Andy Jackson looked lively. He helped create a couple of good chances, linking well with the right winger. Unfortunately for the Loons they didn't take their chances.
In the second half Forfar fell out of the game badly, failing to keep possession of the ball. As a result Andy had little chance to impress. Even then they could and should have taken something from the game, had their keeper not made a complete a*!e of dealing with a corner.
