A 12am start surely gives you plenty of time, 12pm and you would struggling :D
Thought you were a work shy student bar steward just now anyway?
Can you let Chips know the details if he is unable to get on here. Cheers.
Squad update - Wee Lee, Dunbar, Elvis, G, Al, Chips, Spew, Barca, Dale, Sumo.
Unavailable - BeeJ, Rodge, Geezer, Wonka, Patsy, Rodgers, Burn, Nelly, Nips, Chopper.
Few unavailable and not that healthy a squad at the minute. Could do with getting a decent team out for this one so others please confirm asap. Cheers.
Anyone got any idea if Daly has still retired or if Edgar is still playing ammeys?

AM PM same thing. I shall let ross know :) i work at Perth Leisure pool. Mitch Buchannan to the rescue!
Not looking too great squad wise, if anyone knows any budding footballers that fancy it then let me know.
Pretty sure Edgar is still playing amateurs, not sure about Dirty.
I'm now unavialable I'm afraid.

i can play and daryl can play :cool:
perthsaint1884
12-03-2008, 06:16 PM
Can daryl take his car??
I've committed to going skiing on Sat.
If the weather turns rotten and the slopes don't open though, i'll play if needed.
Sorry lads.
Think Dunbar has got somebody from his 19's team to play and am hopeful on a couple of others. Anyone that can definitely play though would be a bonus.
Guess Perth cats should meet at Tesco at 8.20am or so ready to leave at 8.30am. Should be just over an hour to Musselburgh with directions earlier in the thread. Any problems let Elvis or Dunbar know, I guess cars might be a little bit of an issue here.
G's mate who lives nearby is in so squad is looking a bit healthier now. Make sure you all show up however!!
Squad update therefore is;
Perth cats - Wee Lee, Dunbar, Elvis, Dale, Dunbar's mate, Daryl, Sumo & Barca - 8.
Other cats - Al, G, Spew, Chips, Alan (G's mate) - 5.
Maybe - Stewart White (Ecuador on Monday!), Nold (expressed interest in main forum thread)
Looking a bit healthier but any others please confirm if they can. Perth cats at Tesco for 8.20, ready to leave at 8.30. Others get to Musselburgh at 9.45 or thereabouts so we can get organised.
Cars from Perth might be an issue but have left this in Elvis and Dunbar's capable hands..............
Guess Stevie might be going from Perth so could at least give folk a lift there?
Any other issues give me a shout. Cheers.

Only 2 spare seats in Stevie's car of he's able to take folk there, just due to the work ladders etc in the car.
Any ideas on cars? Elvis has his, what about Nips? Think Lee said Daryl couldn't take his either.

You're not the sharpest tool in your new toolbox.
I can take the ladders out and fit 4 extra for the way down. After that they'll either need to cadge a lift through to Livi ...
or go to the Hibs game.

I'll see you there. You can follow me down for the quickest route to the pitch if you want.
As an aside Al .. going by your avatar would I be correct in thinking you might be a big Seinfeld fan? If so I recently purchased the full box set and I'm slowly working my way through from series 1. Comedy Gold! I'm out there Jerry and lovin every minute of it!

Thats because you took all the better sharp tools
Aye but good point all the same.... Al, i think Lee & Daryl were booking seats on the 208 bus for the way back, if 1 or 2 others did the same, could the weegies accomodate them in their cars for getin to Livi after the game?
Thats would make it 5 in Elvis's car, the other 3 in Stevie's, then jumping in with the weegies and at least 3 get the bus back, that would be the spaces sorted. Dale wont have to go straight back anymore I dont think as he quit his job so I should manage to get him to the Saints game aswel.

DunB, if you pick the strips up from me you can have my washing fee. Home strips we needing Al/Stevie?

Presumably Erin will be in green and white so the blue ones will be fine Wonka. Can you pick them up Dunbar? Cheers.

I wasn't planning on going to the Saints game this week but should be able to drop folk off on the way back as it is just off the M8. Will need to get Spew to drive as well though if this is the case - will sort it.
Chips might be going to the Saints game?
What is up with your car anyway DunB - if you drove there would be no problems!! Or if Daryl drove - thought he had a car?

Indeed Mr Carr!! If anything it gets better as it goes on!!
Without spoiling it for you look out for the Contest, the Bubble Boy and the Soup Nazi, pure genius.

Gets really shakey at about the 70 mark, had it in the garage but need to get it in for a better look, just keep forgeting to. If needed I will just take it, but would only take 3 others at most in it.
Suppose it would also save you having to drop folk off and others geting the bus back. Although would rather this as a last resort
Gets really shakey at about the 70 mark,
Just go faster then!
Christ Dunbar, shakey is nothing!! The beast used to do all manner of things as well as shake, you young troops don't know you are born :D
It is not really a problem dropping you in Livingston, just means an extra car needs to leave from here as Spew and G need to get back. Martin, who played away to Arab FC earlier in the season is also coming now so just need to see whether him or Spew takes the extra car. The preference would be for you to take your car but if you are not comfortable with that then fair play, as long as you confirm before we leave that is fine.
Squad is actually looking pretty decent now - Wee Lee, Dunbar, Elvis, Dale, Daryl, Sumo, Barca (Perth), Al, G, Spew, Martin, Alan, Chips, Nelly (Other).

If anyone's needing a lift to Livi i'll have a car. Can't give lifts back as I'm heading through to glasgow to see the missus after the game.
What's the crack with strips? Do we need to provide our own Saints tops?

We have tops so you just need to get shorts & socks for the games

I have them all too but cheers anyway Stevie. The one I watched most recently was quite a late one where Kramer acquires the set of the Merv Griffin show, installs it in his flat and then interviews Jerry, George, Elaine and Numan whenever they come round. That sounds like it shouldn't be funny but it is!!
The best "show about nothing" of all time!!

Re: PSJ @ Erin Hibs - Saturday 15th March 2008
Ring a bell you 2???
This one finished in a 5-2 defeat for PSJ with goals from OG and Martin. PSJ MOM was G, Opposition MOM was Dale.
Went one nil up then two one down before levelling at 2-2 before half time. Hibs upped the ante a bit in the second half and ran out comforable winners. Thought it was a bit closer than 5-2 but Hibs are a very good side, for me the best at this level. They are very well organised and strong throughout the team but thought we had some good periods of play and were unlucky at times.
Cheers to Stevie and the Erin Hibs boys for the game. Thanks also to everyone that helped us out today and for those that helped organise things from Perth.
Saints are at Firhill next week, don't have a game lined up yet but hopefully will be able too so watch out for a seperate thread. Cheers.
