Excellent, that's another wage off the budget.
I'm happy with this, free's up wages.

Red cards and injury basically meant he was never going to get near the first team - surprised to see him go since there wasn't a hint of it over the weekend but it's a good move for Saints and hopefully the player.
Excellent 8)
He was a liability - and not even a very good one!
Glad Rustybitz has fought his way into the side. His attitude and workrate has been spot on. 8)

Good luck to the guy, but it looks like the Falkirk fans who said he was cack and a liability were correct.

Never saw the guy play, but two red cards in his short time with limited appearances for Saints I feel speaks for itself.
As to the Falkirk fans view of him when he signed. Cack? Possibly - we didn't see enough to make that judgement. Liability? Definitely.
It's a fresh start for him, so hopefully he can put his injuries and disciplinary problems behind him, so I'd wish him all the best, and really hope he cuts it in Kirkaldy.
The point that was made earlier about this freeing up a wage is the thing Saints have got out of this transfer, and kudos to OC for seeing this opportunity for Saints, Mark Campbell (and Raith Rovers FC), so let's move on.

The guy started the season OK but seemed to lose confidence after he was out. Good to se another wage freed up as it looked as if he was well out of Coyles plans.I think we may have bought out his contract or let him go for free. Certainly would not have got a fee for him.
Most likelyl is we allowed Raith to have him without a fee

always thought campbell was a decent player before he joined us. played a few games, scored a decent goal, smacked a couple of people in the puss  , then disappeared. fair play to big ruti cementing his place in the team. i was a bit concerned when i heard he was on his way out a while back. a while back when he wasn't playing every week he was the only player i have seen in a long time actually jump out of his seat and cheer when we scored :P . even the youth players only applaud when coyle is coming off the bench

Campbell left for free and will more than likely have had the balance between Raith and Saints wages paid for by us.

Shame would of given him another chance

The trouble is, if he can't win his place back in the matchday squad when we're playing poorly then there's little chance of him doing it when we're winning. As others have mentioned, his poor disciplinary record and injury have cost him his place and its better that the club give him the chance to play somewhere else and free up a wage, save some money and go after a better quality player in the summer especially if we peg back and overtake St.Mirren

Thought he was decent enough to give him the benefit of the doubt and would have liked to see him get another chance - but can't really complain about getting him off the wage bill, given how little he was involved.

Didn't merit another chance IMO. Never stood out in anything he did, and with the re-emergance of Rusi this season, he was no longer required.
Was there not also rumours of some trouble in a closed doors game aswell as his 2 first team red cards ?

No rumours at all Paul, the ref stopped the closed doors game with 10 minutes to go as Campbell was either about to scrap or was scrapping with a Rovers player!!!
